I was talking about the cancellation of the dub. Most younger viewers lost interest over the year Naruto hasn't been on the air, combine that with minimal advertising out of nowhere, and being on a channel that everyone doesn't have, and we have a recipe for commercial disaster, even if the dubs were good.

I'm with PsychoKarin on the show aint getting cancelled unless Kishi does what Oda/Toei did and expresses his/their displeasure with how the series was being treated. Looking forward to watching tonight hope that even if they dont show blood tonight that they do during the Sakura and Chiyo vs Sasori fight. Also my DVR says that next week is supposed to be an Aaron stone marathon but the rest of last weeks episodes will air during that week but I'll wait and see if that changes.

Shōnen (少年?), shonen, or shounen, is a Japanese word literally meaning few years which, generally, refers to a typical teenage boy, from high school through junior high school age. It is used in everyday conversation when referring to the period of youth, including in legal wording referencing youth, without regard to gender. Shonen manga is a popular genre of Japanese comics typically aimed at young males of this age group. Last edited by MangekyouChidori : 11-04-2009 at 07:33 PM. Reason: quick fix |

Shōnen manga (少年漫画?) refers to manga marketed to a male audience roughly between the ages of 10 and 18. Examples include Dragon Ball, Saint Seiya, Rurouni Kenshin, InuYasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Flame of Recca, Naruto, Bleach, Detective Conan, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh and Fullmetal Alchemist. It's also good to see that you have apparently graduated from the PsychoKarin school of debate, which says, if you can't get the results you want with the data you have, change a little bit and hope they are none the wiser. Here's what the Wiki quote currently reads. Shōnen (少年?), shonen, or shounen, is a Japanese word literally meaning few years which, generally, refers to a typical teenage boy, from elementary school through junior high school age. It is used in everyday conversation when referring to the period of youth, including in legal wording referencing youth, without regard to gender. Shonen manga is a popular genre of Japanese comics typically aimed at young males of this age group. The bold part shows where the change occurred, the major tell in yours being that you have a chronological error, implying High School comes before Jr. High. Let's say for the sake of being a nice guy that I give you the benefit of the doubt and you happened to stumbled upon a poorly vandalized Wiki page that happened to support the facts you are attempting to peddle, in that case, it still leaves you incorrect about your statement and you pretty much are forced to concede now that your own "evidence" is being turned against you. I certainly hope you don't try any of this stuff during the Random Manga Debates. It'd be a shame if your team lost points for cheating. |

As for the debates, I see I was mistaken. I've been seeing you around a lot and I just assumed you were on the opposing team. When every other person on this site has something either Sharingan- or Uchiha-related in their name, it starts to run together. It's not really my business to know who is on there, but it doesn't matter. As for my life outside of the forum, it exists, it's just that I also happen to enjoy some nice debate now and then, so yeah. Still, I assume this means you admit to submitting falsified information, correct? |

I'm not sure why I should take a hint and get lost when you haven't presented any sort of strong evidence to shame me away. I don't fold just because people don't agree with me. That only makes me more powerful. Quote:
Don't bother trying to edit it for your own motives, I'm pretty sure there are guys sitting there all the time for people trying to win a forum fight to edit it. They'll just change it right back. And seriously, 18-25? Come now sir, you must try harder than that.18-25 is A. contradictory to even your own falsified information, B. not even remotely believable for the target demo, and C. would make Naruto classified as a seinen manga, which I can assure you sir, it is not. You try to justify the fact that you watch a show for children, so you will continue to attack me. The fact is, it's for kids, get over it. My favorite book series is Harry Potter, but the simple fact is that they are children's books, same for Naruto, just live with it, adults can enjoy them too. I'm also not just here to show up, I'm a staunch idealist and I attempt to right the wrongs of the forum, to make it a better place for everyone, plus I'm bored. |

According to Japanese law, the term "shonen" refers to "a person from the time they enter elementary school until the time they are 18 years of age" (Child Welfare Laws (児童福祉法, Jidō ***ushi Hō?), Article 4.3), and "Any person who has not reached the age of 20 years" (Juvenile Law (少年法, Shonen Hō?)
