In upcoming sets i think that there should be a card for the super akamaru from those fillers where he was going crazy and was hurting everyone and they had to get the anbu and kibas sister/mom I dont remember which it was whoever has a lot of dogs.
If the card makers wanted to make a good playable akamaru (which I think they do judging by texans poll on the mill preview discussion thread) that akamaru would be the perfect way to do it. And on top of that the art for that akamaru would be hella cool...
