Land of Snow for the 25th time, and as a stated fan of filler, just here to reflect some clarifications for the movie.

#1 The movie takes place between Tsunade Arc and Land of Tea arc

#2 The bad guys are NOT using Ice Style. It is a mistranslation. What they are doing is using Water Style to manipulate the ice. They can't make ice. This is shown when Kakashi's lightning blade cuts right through Nadare's justu, since lightning is elementally superior to water.

Technically it is Ice Style, since all Ice is is frozen water. But they cannot make ice like Haku's style, and their jutsu would be useless if they were not around a great deal of ice.

Then why is Raikage's Raiton jutsus hurting Suigetsu so bad? Besides the obvious "he's the f-ing Raikage" explanation.

Because the Raikage has tailed beast mode level chakra.

His chest barely got touched, and he sacrificed his left arm to smash Sasuke's face in. Amaterasu is Sasuke's desperation move and he had to use it in defense just to get some contact. I would say Raikage would win, but we all know about the Kishi man-crush.

Yeah, $10 says Sasuke somehow unlocks a new Sharingan Move(maybe Madara's Immortality?) or maybe a Kirin?

I'm not sure it's a mistranslation, so much as non-canon having no clue what it's talking about, since it isn't canon.

EDIT: Yeah, it is definitely just non-canon making stuff up again. Japanese calls it a Hyouton jutsu and if you know anything about the Japanese version, you should know that Water Style is Suiton. Stop making things up, seriously.

The point still stands that it is not a kekki genkai tech, nor is it anything like Haku's abilities, they're just using the ice around them, and their techs would be useless outside of the ice, if they weren't worm food.

Haku's kekki genkai allowed him to create ice by combining water and wind. There's no sign that Nadare or his boys could make ice, just use the ice that existed in the land of snow.

No, he put them together, that's what I'm saying. You can't just use Suiton to make ice. Not even if it's cold, so don't go there, cause I know that's where you are going with this.

???

Nadare and his boys used the ice that was already present. That use of pre-existing ice does not require Haku's ability.

Nadare's techniques would be useless away from a great deal of ice, because he is incapable of combining the two chakras into one. Nadare is giving the illusion of using ice techniques, when in reality, he is just moving the ice that is already present.

Nadare isn't doing anything because he doesn't exist. By your logic, it is possible to start manipulating trees because they are there. Jutsu don't work that way and we both know that.

YES WE KNOW. YOU HATE FILLER. WHY YOU ARE CONSTANTLY ARGUEING WITH ME ABOUT THIS CONTINUES TO ASTOUND ME. WE GET IT AT THIS POINT.

Regarding the second part. No, a normal jutsu could not move a tree. But an earth style jutsu that destabilizes the roots and sends it flying at somebody would work, would it not?

Nadare is moving frozen water. he cannot make it, but can move it because all ice is is water.

Super cool temper tantrum, bro. My hatred for filler is irrelevant to the fact that you can't argue anything about filler, because whether or not you like it, it didn't happen and could not possibly happen, therefore logic can't be applied to it.

If you hate filler so god **** much, why are you posting in a thread about filler like a complete jackass.

Nobody wants to have someone walk in and say, "by the way, none of this counts because my view of what Kishimoto's is implying is limited to what I can read"

DO YOURSELF AND EVERYONE ELSE A FAVOR, AND WHEN YOU SEE A POST REGARDING FILLER F-U-C-K-I-N-G IGNORE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back to point, Nadare's techniques are manipulating frozen water. Like I've said 6 times before, that does not create the ice, and therefore would not require the bloodline trait to use

Language sir, there are children present. I believe I have a right to do whatever I please. You see, I just can't stand to see flawed arguments and bad logic, so it is in my interest to refute your baseless claims, lest others take them to be true. Fact: You are making things up. Fact: Filler doesn't happen and can't. Everyone knows it and accepts it. why does it not exist? Because you say so? Interview with Bleach's writer in an anime magazine stated that filler characters in bleach were in the show and not the manga because of time constraints. Why wouldn't this fact be the same in Naruto? I can practically guarentee the all filler would have been in the manga had there been enough time, but weekly publications like Shonen Jump don't permit for that.

Secondly, if everyone knows that filler doesn't exist, as you say, then why would anyone take what I say as canon? I talk about filler, in the filler sense, and in no way are trying to say that it existed. That's why I usually put "filler" in my titles to let people LIKE YOU know that "this is a discussin regarding filler. If you find filler offensive to your stuck up senses, please avoid this topic. Thank you, and have a nice day, somewhere else."

There's no such thing as time restraints on manga. If anything, something as popular as Naruto would be milked to death, a la Inuyasha. Apparently you've never heard of Hajime no Ippo, because it has been going on for twenty years and is still going strong. Conversely, Dragon Ball was dragged out two arcs after Toriyama-sensei wanted to end it. Then they still had to make GT after he said no more. Naruto is a cash cow, so if that talentless hack Kishimoto wanted to make it longer, there'd be no complaints from Jump. He adds as little or as much as he wants. If he didn't make it, it didn't happen. There is no Extended Universe for Manga, just the facts that have been laid out. Filler doesn't happen because there are inconsistencies with canon. If a manga-ka wants to say that filler happened, it isn't filler anymore. Toriyama-sensei like the Bardock movie, so he made it canon, putting it into tyhe manga. The fact remains that until the manga-ka puts out word that something is canon, it isn't. Kishimoto had problems with that movie anyway. Those kunai cannons were too gun-like fr his liking and I think he might have been opposed to the train, but I can't remember.

At least that's a fair and balanced explanation. But the idea of protecting people from what others say is a useless motion. People who would take what others say on the internet as the word of truth don't have sense. I don't believe any of what I see on the internet until I see offline proof.

Bottom line: I state my opinion on fillers, if people don't like filler or only respect canon, to each their own, but at least leave me to mine.

You can like your filler all you want, but you can't use logic on it, it's impossible. Despite what you may think, the fact of the matte is, when people say something on the internet and they sound like they know what they are talking about, someone is going to dattebayo. I take it upon myself to attempt to dispel a much misinformation as possible. I'm not foolish enough to believe that I can change the world, but maybe I can change the community that I frequent. That's my nindou.

Note: All instances of believe it have been changed to dattebayo.

This whole thread was never meant to be taken as fact, I'm simply expressing my theory on why some events seem impossible even by filler standards.

Lets face it, its all just fictional and thing like that is not worth rising your and other users' blood preasure.
