TOP problems

Ok, I've tried to update TOP and it didn't update. I was on the OP site and I went to where it said to install the following if it didn't update automatically. I installed them and retried and TOP is still not updated. So am I doing something wrong or what is going on?

Also, after locking a tournament I haven't been able to send it. Going to Send doesn't show any tournaments that I can send in. Also, when I click on view all it says False. So am I doing something wrong or what is going on?

Ok, I'm with him with the lock. I cant figure out how to make it lock with temp ID, and how do i get Players ID? Cause i know it has to be a 6 digit number and they have is thier user names?

You probably have to uninstall your current version before you can install the newest version. I was having a similar problem.

You can't lock it with a temp id. You have to give the player a real one before you are allowed to upload the results. Don't you have ID cards? If the player is already registered, there might be a way to look up his number, or you could just give him a new one.

To look up a player's number:
In the top program, click on Send/Receive > Receive > Download Global Player List. I don't know what is supposed to happen next though. my top just freezes up for a while :confused:

To give a player a new number:
You received player registration forms/cards didn't you? Just give a new one to the player with the temp ID and change his temp number to the 6 digit number on the card. Click Player > Fix Temp

no i havent recieved registration forms/cards yet...are they nessesary, also when will i get promos to hand out to my players. and thank you so much for your help.
