Error after Update

I recently updated to v1.5 When I open the software I get the follow error

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you Click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Object reference not set to an instance of a object"

I click Contuine and the main box comes up. But with no Events. I also check my player list, and the list is from when I first started.

When I go up to Send/Recive>Recive>ALl Future Meijin Events>Put in Username Password I then get this error:

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you Click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

The column name is not valid. [Node name (if any) = Column name = Venue_phone]"

MY software also has no Venue.

At this point i cant retrieve my events. I am afraid to start new ones as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I got that same message, but it was only while I was attempting to delete a tournament. I closed the program and tried again later and didn't seem to have the problem again.
One other minor problem I found with the newest update is tournament names only allow alpha-numeric symbols. I used to use "-" in my tournament names but now when I try to it just puts a space in its place.:confused:

I had the same issue with earlier versions and worked with one of the TOP tech supports for a while...

The resolution we came up with was you will need to do the following (keep in mind this is off of memory if you need the exact steps e-mail me and I can forward you the exact steps from my e-mail)

1. Uninstall the TOP software
2. Uninstal the SQL database software
3. Delete the C:\...TOP folder
4. Delete any registry key that has to do with TOP (you may skip this step if you are unfimiliar with registry keys)
5. Reboot your machine
6. Install a fresh copy of the latest softwre
7. It should prompt you to install the SQL database in step 6 if you did the previous steps correcly and in order.
8. It may ask you to reboot your machine prior to complleting the install.

Those are the steps I could remember, i may miss 1 or 2 but it worked for me...hopefully it will for you. :D
