If ur not running Gaara [tn], I would suggest x3 Kiba [Man beast clone] and x2 previewed Akamaru.

If ur running the wolf, Kiba [Mbc] and Akamaru [partner] would be suggested.

Oh yeah, card art is GREAT. Hope that the Kage Gaara can only use "Wind" or "Requirements: Sand" so he can only play his jutsus. Would suck if I was playing against a Fire/Wind or Water/Wind. Maybe he'll be like a T6 HC1, but really hope he can't play Trigrams or Vortex...

fire does not need any more boost and now they just got 1 amazing 0 and 1 good zero FIRE DOES NOT NEED MORE GOOD CARDS

as i can see the boost is needed like this

earth (needs like one jutsu that is way broken and a turn 5)
water (needs good negation)
lightning (also needs negation and a possible 4th turn)
wind (although 9000 is good it lacks jutsu besides gig fan and maybe another 0 besides sakura)
fire (doesnt need anything only thing it could use is a first or second turn)

Aside from Fires fault, scrub ninjas being Gaara and other assets help against nvs and other threatning archetypes.

True, Bandai only did it to probobly make a twist or something, besides, if it's going to be a 2/2 anyways it wouldn't probobly need it. I'm thinking 1x Partner, 1x of these, or 2x of one and 1x of the other if I had the room.





I'm excited about the set, and with Shippuden now I can't wait to see some of the card art and effects from new ninjas. This game is going to be beastly, and if the saga drags out or side-tracks into a new series/another saga with a new theme that would be great. Even if it were only to drag out to it's current theme, we'd still have plenty of filler cards to make and all. =]

It just means it's basic stat's, not that they can never be changed or keep going back when there's a change. If you drop MBC and grab Partner, than growth into another MBC and search for this Akamaru, their original stat's become 2/2 each and THAN they have the growth coin leftover making them each 3/3's. Otherwise we'd still use FAT Akamaru.

Well don't hold your breath for a Wind Naruto, considering the game doesn't exactly follow the show. Last I checked, Kakashi's only original move was Lightning...Blade. Asuma is in Earth while being known as a wind attribute. Raiga uses Lightning, not water, et cetera, et cetera.

i doubt they'll show any of them in these initial previews. Prolly like they just did, kiba/akamaru. maybe shika/ino or neji/hinata for earth. Konahamaru/something dumb for lightning, etc. etc.

Im getting antsy on the new previews though..With 3 exclusive starters to each deck (I think thats what it said) we already have 2 fire shown..So that leaves 1 starter exclusive and then 3 from probably the other Starter..so is it going to be one card previews for the next four weeks?

Well if you look closely at that Japanese Akamaru, it looks like it has the FAT effect. It mentions something about a gain of +1/0.

Screw Partner, just run 2 of the new one. TP 4 on Turn 1 is solid and requires far less work/luck. Kiba goes to 2/2~2/2 with Akamaru in play, as far as I can tell.

Nah, it'll be a continuation from what I hear. Good thing too. Building a collection only to have it become completely obsolete is NOT cool and probably one of the fastest way for a card game to lose its player base. It's one of the reasons very few people who played the original Pokemon TCG play the new ones.

Its going to be a completely different game. All the cards we've gotten til this point will become obsolete and useless. Thats how it is I guess.

new cards wont necissarily replace old cards. i mean think about it unless they relase another kakashi that gets a battle reward for victory, ES will always be used, sure new cards will be awesome, but some cards will never not see play. taht is why we arent changing are style of gameplay to make the longetivity of the cards way more rather than jsut have them all be worthless.

I'm happy with change, but the "a new put in play" part scares me a little. I'll all for a little bit of change, but I hope you don't fix the whole "Ninjas can be chained to with Jutsus" or some weird timings, at least I won't want it if it made DBB junk even though the timing would be better.

Basically all our "good" cards will still be good, but there will probobly be some nice combos with junk cards from previous sets.

Ontopic: Earth needs drawing, jutsus, some good turn 5 but I guess that I will see it at last just hope don't suck like LoTL because I didn't see anything really good T_T like I hoped, well I want Ino chunin to use mind destruction jutsu :D, fire have everything, and water have low needs I think earth wind and lightning need some more help, but I guess I'll have to play aka-kiba =P.

I just wanted to say, that fire was already previewed (even if just partly) and used sarcasm :P
Btw Tracking by Ninja Hounds would be good draw, if there would be more Ninja Dogs. In dog-based deck 2 fire Ninja Dogs and 1 fightning is far too less, IMO.
