I was wondering if the starter exclusive cards are just alternate artwork versions of cards available in the booster packs, or are they truly exclusive to just the starter decks. It is somewhat unclear from just looking at the deck spoiler list.

from what i understand after being a forum troll =P they are exclusive only to the starter... not avaliable in booster packs. *shrugs* i planned on buying 1 of each version of the decks anyway and at least one booster box... hopefully that gets almost a full set and enough trade fodder to complete it with a decent deck able to be built.

Thanks. I was kind of hoping that they might be available in the boosters as well. It would make it easier to get a play set of certain useful cards rather than having to trade or get a duplicate starter. Oh well, I was planning on getting one of each starter anyway so I guess it's not that big of a deal.

i think my previous statement may have been slightly off... i belive that there is a paralel foil of every card, you may be able to get the starter exclusives in packs but a foil version. i almost forgot about that little detail.

most likely starter cards are only available in the starters and not in boosters or they would just have a normal rarity not a specified rarity that says starter

SE Cards are limited only to the decks themselves. They will not appear in boosters.
That's the point of being labeled *Exclusive*.

Each of the starter exclusives is foil, so you cannot recieve a foil version in a pack.

so... what your saying is that each starter will have more foils then just the Naruto or Sasuke one that comes in the box? would be great, but, doubtfull.. specially since the only card that is labeled as being foil is the Naruto one in the post andrew made in the previews is the Naruto one at the top of the list...

or to make it simpler you just say, you can only get that card in a starter deck and no where else :D

Incorrect. The SE cards do not show up in the packs whatsoever. Plus, only the front card is foil.
In addition, each card in a booster, regardless of rarity, has a foil parallel. So, it's more accurate to say, "You'll never see SE cards in a foil variant."

It's not entirely impossible though. For Gundam War, Bandai made foil versions of every starter exclusive card and used them as tournament entry prizes. Anyone who goes to a tournament got one, eventually people got all of the starter exclusive cards in foil.

Is there another type of Haku or is the only one in the starterdeck?

There are 3 different Hakus. The starter exclusive is the 0 drop with 1/1, 1/0 and no effect.

Maybe that is what is in the starter deck varients? 2 regular decks and 2 with foil starter exclusives in them. Just a thought.

oh...so the only differences are what you get in the sideboard? That's cool I guess. It's just that you're going to be buying two of the same deck to get 3 different cards unless you end up trading for them.

here is what i know to help clarify some things
1 there are 12 starter exclusive card that can only be found in a starter deck or an on,ine website such as toywiz will when the game comes out.
2each deck will have 40 cards and 10 cards part of the sidedeck/board.
3each side deck will have 5 different cards, 2 of each card.
4 each naruto deck will have the same cards in the 40 card deck and the same will go for the sasuke deck.
5the difference betwwen each variation of the naruot or sasuke deck is the sidedeck.
6 The sidedecks cards will have no cards part of anyother side deck. these cards are exclusive to that side deck among those sidedecks although 2/5 of the cards will be also available in the booster packs. the other 3/5 are starter exclusive.
7 each deck variation has 3 seperate deck exclusive cards that can only be found in that deck or online to be bought individually.
if there is anymore information about this topic or if you have any questions please asjk. Kyle81 please confirm all this knowledge or tell me what to edit to make correct.
