i would not say that it was pretty good when qfp came out it was run mostly mono earth but idk maybe it just was not good in some places

Yes, I agree with One Winged Angel, Dfc decks will become even more powerful becuase of Hic. I cant wait for that card myself.

If anything I'd say DFC will became more powerful. Hinata In Captivity will make it harder for your opponent to get BRs allowing you to stall longer until you can use DFC. Not to mention all of the Byakugan stuff coming out that can be used in most earth decks. If earth become mono playable then we'll see a lot more DFC.

DFC/Byakugan........that could work but the splash dfc would be way off deck.

byakugan has a very playable card that will be in the reprints, it's non sr. But you forgot it in your build Shikamaru pwns. I forgot the name but it would make the deck far more playable......

I think you mean Gentle Fist. Anyway, my point was that earth got a good boost, maybe the biggest boost of all the elements this set. So I see no reason why DFC will stop being used. It's still a good deck. In my area it's usually mixed with wind tempo.

If it's there, just for the sake of being earth, you can run Haku -C- over it and then run some Hinata -O- and some Futaba's. Heck maybe Iruka too while you're at it.

It is like how people claim ADP is alwalys superior to Toughness and that Gigantic fan is alwalys better than wind sythe. Each card has its uses, toughness is better in a direct damage deck using suicidal action and for people that dont like using hand manipulation. Wind sythe, can be negated by them paying 2 extra chakra but it can target any jutsu, also versus early game FPS and Chidori what are the odds that they actually have the 2 extra chakra.unless they use chidori for free:D

gig fan is better than any negation (besides sharingan)
If adp allowed you to look back at your hand a second time to change the cards it would be far better than toughness. I like tougness by the way.

Personally I like toughness and wind sythe. I like wind sythe only because it allows me to negate negation. then only "negation" you can negate with gig fan are gentle fist and blade of the thunder god. notice negation is in quotes so I am not including ninja removal as strict negation.

You forgot High Speed Taijutsu. I always considered Gig Fan a better negation over all, but Wind Scythe is a good side deck card if your opponent isn't running Gig Fan negeatable jutsus.

when they mill the 2 too paY off the negation, it sucks to be on the receiving end....

Gig stops the hard core jutsus and it's on the cheap....your other jutsus can mess around with their cheaper jutsus....it's all about deck making.
