Yes, the rumor is that some Japanese cards are being changed.

So far the only person I have heard it from is Zero and he says he got it from Bandai them selfs(I believe). So, some might take it as fact and others as rumor.

Awful pun. Is zero really that much of an influence. He has good points once in awhile but since when does he have direct links with bandai?

All the top players are really involved in helping the game. So, they talk to Bandai through the forum, pm, or email. I guess you have not been here long enough to know how much Zero, JDragon, and the like do for the game.

I've been here long enough. I just don't think (or like the idea of) the game rests on the opinions of a few people.

Well, from you comments you seem to have things wrong, for being here "long enough". The game does not rest on the top players. They just fight for the better of the game. When Bandai makes a broken card that needs to be changed for the better, the top players try to get it changed.

The game doesn't rest on the opions of Zero and JD, it just so happens that Zero and JD are the ones who reach out to bandai by making valid points on the state of the meta.

Yes good point, they reach out. They are the ones that go to Bandai and ask for info/change. Bandai does not go to them.

:\

After Gencon, bandai hired Chris starr (former jonin winner, and one of the best players in the game, whom we all know) to join the R&D team, in a attempt to have a "proffesional player" help make sure cards being made were balanced. I talk to chris every once and awhile. He cant tell me OR anyone else cards in upcoming sets, but I did ask him about a card me and my teamates were worried wuld again, ruin the meta. Chris said to me "I wouldnt leave a card that unbalanced" Which leads me to believe he had it changed. So far chris HAS done a few things in terms of fixes of released cards, cause that is what hes supposed to do, so I wouldnt doubt it if he changed the card.

As for the game resting on Mine, or Joshes, or ANY one of the known players opinions, it just isnt true. I think if that were the case, the game wouldnt be at a constant power creep, and it would be alot more fun to play :\
