Well, they only started shipping yesterday, so stores should have just started to get them today.

Now, as for your question, I have no idea, since I do not have either game yet (banking on winning sweepstakes for them), but I do not believe there are any cards include with either of the games, but it's possible there are other un-CCG-related extras...

Well, by first Member, I mean first upgraded from Junior Member. In the terms you're thinking of, I was the tenth person to join the forums after the Admins and Mods. Chronomaster was the first. (Yes, I considered this.)

They gave it a 7.8 out of 10. Very respectable, especially for an anime-based game, and .1 higher than Bloody Roar: Primal Fury, also for GCN, and that game was pretty enjoyable.

Actually Bandai didn't do this game TOMY did. Rock Lee's there I saw him in a preview not sure about Ten-Ten, I also know Zabuza is there along with Haku...

Ok, the game was developed by 8ing/Raizing they're famous for a lot of Japanese shooters. They do all 4 of the Naruto GCN games (this is just the first one).

Ninja Council has Naruto and Sasuke to start off with, and you can unlock Kakashi later.

To clear up confusion, CoN was developed by Eighting (Bloody Roar) and published by Tomy in Japan. NC was developed by ARC System Works (Guilty Gear) and published by Tomy in Japan. The PS2 fighters were developed by CyberConnect2 (.hack) and published by Bandai in Japan. There are other games, but I don't feel like explaining them since they have not been announced for US release (yet).

I think there were like 12 playable characters in the first game, 24 in the second. THey go up more and more with each game. Gaara isn't in the first game but will be in the second game that comes out for the game cube.

it's a side-scrolling game boy game, and you fight alot of people, i know if you beat the game, you can play as kakashi, but i don't know about ino... or gaara(whom i dearly want to play as)... but, if gaara is in ninja council, he should be in clash of the ninja, because gc games usually have more than gb games... take electric arena vs. mamodo battles for instance, mamodo battles had alot more characters and modes than it's game boy counter part

i tried the sakura thing but it did not work
and i beat the game with all the charecters twice to get kyuubi naruto

There is mass confusion here, so let me try to sort some things out. The Clash of Ninja fighting game for GCN is Gekitou Ninja Taisen! 1 in Japan. There are 4 in the series in Japan. Later games will have MUCH more characters than the 10 I listed before.

For Clash of Ninja, the characters only go up to the Zabuza story arc, so no Gaara, no Ino, no Hinata, etc.

Ninja Council for GBA (Saikyou Ninja Daikesshu 1 in Japan), that has more characters like Ino, etc. in it, but not playable. This game is a side-scroller with the only playable characters being Naruto, Sasuke, and after you unlock him, Kakashi.

More games will be coming out in Fall, however...

Yes, I just bought the game yesterday (Naruto: Clash of Ninja) and No it did not come with any promo cards, but the April issue of Shonen Jump did include a Naruto Promo card, which I got and looks pretty cool. :D

I can't wait til this card game comes out, does anyone know if they are going to be available at any major retailers like Toys R' US and if so when?

and for those who care, i am peeved by how unspeakably easy it is to beat gaara as kakashi in ninja council...

here is a guide i made to beating ninja council, and all the secrets!!!

to fight gaara: after you beat the game as a character, beat the game again as the same character, your missions will be harder, they will take place at night, and the final bosses, instead of haku, zabuza, and orochimaru, will be temari, kankuro, and gaara, now, if you're playing as sasuke or naruto, or you haven't gotten raikiri(they call it lighting blade in this game), you will have heck against gaara, but, if you are playin as kakashi, and you have raikiri, you will have an easy battle, since gaara just stays in one place and shoots stuff at you...

beating orochimaru: dodge his attacks until he summons his boa, if you have the chakra, charge up either your 3rd or 4th jutsu if you have it, his boa can't hit you if you're charging chakra, so keep that in mind when you do this, if his boa does hit you, you will gain an immense ammount of chakra, but you will lose an entire bar of health, if you are playing as kakashi, you may need to use "my favorite book" in order to regain some health

getting kakashi: beat the game once as sasuke and naruto

get visual mode: beat the game as a character

get sound test mode: get all 100 leaf symbols

temari: temari is fairly easy to beat, her small attacks can be stopped by kunai, and her big attacks can't hurt you if you're charging chakra, if she goes to the very side of the area, go to the opposite side and charge chakra, her weak attacks can't reach you there, and her big attacks can't hit you

i said academy, because that is where you get the 4th jutsu... btw, always face the side of the room your enemy is on when you use the kyuubi chakra attack, naruto goes to the center, and charges in that direction, so if you are facing your enemy, and your on the left side, and he is to your right, but is still on the left side of the room, you will either miss him, or barely manage to hit him.

If anyone has Naruto: Clash of Ninja can you clear something up for me?

I have seen on a lot of sites including IGN that it says if you beat the game with sakura or beat the story mode with sakura that you will unlock Hinata as a playable character.

Now I have done this many times and it does not unlock hinata and also you can't play as sakura in story mode to begin with, you can only play as Naruto.

Does anyone know if you really can unlock hinata and if so can you tell me how?

Um let me think i bought it and i beat it fast but its also wicked fun and i still play it after i got kyuubi naruto shingarn kakashi and rock lee um its sorta a buy it if you r a big fan of naruto and like soul calbur kind of games

it depends which game your talking about and why? naruto clash of ninjas is pretty good especially if you like naruto but its kinda easy for people who are awsome at fighting games which im not. but if you just want a fighting game because you want a challenge it is not much of a challenge.

naruto ninja council is a very simple sidscroller and is not worth 30-35 dollars maybe 5-10 dollars because once u beat it which is relatively simple to do there isnt much else to do . the only characters are nauto, sasuke, and kakashi9 who u get for beating the game and is so ovepowered) so there isny much choice.

if u want a naruto game go for clash of ninja. and if u had the extra money for it pt it towards something better like KH2 kingdom Hearts 2 which totally rocks and is better than the first.

The best Naruto game (IMO) is Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen! 4
because it has 39 characters, and I don't have a PS2 for Narutimett Hero 3...

a naruto rpg would be good but im not sure about a naruto stratedgy game. if u have ever played yu yu hakusho tournament tactics u see how bad a anime themed stratedgy game can be done and that might happen to naruto but the RPG sounds cool. they actuall have an online one but its no where near the level of what a real online video game RPG could be. with all the jutsu that ninja can use i can totally envision an awsome sweet game. too badd all the games are first done in japan none of our ideas will be put to use and we get all the games like 3 years later

There is kinda a naruto RPG out(Naruto Ninden) for PS2, as for clash of the ninja
i cant say if its worth buying or not. I;ve only played three and four and they are great. Three is alittle more balanced(no two tailed naruto>.<) and you can use the d-pad to move. I cant to have tourneyments for the game:D

The clash of ninja we have came out in 2002in japan, and Ninden came out last year about this time in japan, so about three years:(

But i think if it gets really big here well have it soon, i hope:cool: But im really waiting on three and four to come out here so i can play more people.

I've played all the Naruto Ninja Taisen fighters, with the exception of #4.

They are well made fighters, as each adds something new to the gameplay.

anime and mangs are not made for stratedgy games i loved final fantasy tactics and i own FE:TSS and FE:PoR but naruto would just not make a good stratedgy game. the reason is that it is anime based so you have to follow the story line which would make it not so hot . plus it has to be done by a company willing to recreate something not create it as there own . companies would much rather build there own storyline than follow someone else's story. and it would be very limited youd probably just be fighting Ninja A or A leaf Ninja not actuall ninjas except for the bosses. plus i dont think they have one and doubt they will make one according to the fact no one said nething about them
