Ruling Notes: If the team that Zabuza leads, gets an outstanding victory, the entire other team is discarded.
Oh the Hidden Mist Demon! Zabuza is one of the last Ninja i want to see going agasint me in any game. His ability is awesome, and tie that in with his high attack, hes a force to be reconed with. Combine him with some clever Jutsu and you can take out entire ninja teams! Zabuza will definatly see a bit of play in the upcoming months.
Myke`s Rating: 5/5

It doesnt say that on the card.

And outstanding victory means all opponent ninjas are wounded, meaning they would be affected by his effect.
Though no idea why thats noted as a ruling note, the card effect is pretty self explanitory.

No it will not effect opposing ninja. and where does it say "Outstanding Victory" in this card's text. you guys are confusing me. well in the text to the card, it says any injured ninja in THIS ninja's team are discarded. so it does not work on opponents.

Please read the card carefully. Says "received damage from this Ninja's team."
Clearly states any Ninjas injured by Zabuza's team gets discarded.

Zabuza's ability is definitely a force to be reckoned with, but he's quite a balanced card considering his Turn Cost is 5 and his Hand Cost is 1.
As previously stated, his effect could be used to wipe out multiple teams. Can you imagine having to go against this beast of a Ninja? It would be hard to beat this Ninja with raw power, so the best way to counter him is with Jutsu cards that return a Ninja to the hand/top of deck, or Jutsu that power up your own Ninja.
Overall, 4.5/5. He does have a downside. If you can't pay his Hand Cost, you can't bring him out. He is the worst possible topdeck late-game.

P.S. What does it mean when it says "...you must discard a card from your hand to the Chakra area with the same symbol as the Ninja you are going to play"?
Are they talking about Genjutsu, Taijutsu, etc... or Fire, Lightning, Wind, etc...?

Well, if you've got a good Water deck, this should not be much of a problem.
Imagine your opponent's surprise if he or she just managed to defeat your Zabuza and you play another one on your next turn, if you have more than one in your deck. :D

That would be pretty funny, for the Zabuza player at least :P :P
And Chronomaster, thanks

Huh? What kind of sense does that make?

haha, Kakashi, now you see why i put that as a ruling note. :D
I would say though, Zabuza is great, but water overal is pretty poor in the 1st set. So decks built around Zabuza may not be so great right now.
I would say if you HAVE to play a deck with Zabuza, make sure Water is a supporting element and not the main one.
However, its all a diffrent ssssssstory in the next sssset. :D

if it was a normal victory against a team would the leader get discarded because normally the leader on an opposing losing team is damaged when it loses as the leader. This card say all cards damaged by this cards team would get discarded but mykexero says that in an Outstanding battle all cards get discarded . Does that mean only in an outstanding victory all cards are discarded AND in a normal victory the leader is discarde OR only at the Outstanding battle does this effect work.

Yea remember. with cards in the first set you probably won't make a deck with WATER as one of your elements as it's very limited. People will probably be focusing on lightning/fire. But remember to save those water, earth, and wind cards for the next sets.

In overall this card is great, Like 3rd hokage his really good for his turn cost. When this character will hit the board, look your opponnent closely cause It will play with care. Zabuza can hit an opponnent real bad. Cover him with good support value and you shall have an hesitant opponent.
He also have good attribute. Nice card actually :D
4.5/5
P.S 5/5 is perfection and it doesn't exist ;)
