Gaara is one of my favorites and so is Itachi... But I like Itachi more... Sharingan can copy Gaara's tecniques. So Gaara will be out matched because of Sharingan!!! :D YAY ITACHI!!!

1) sharingan is useless against gaara because ALL of gaaras moves consist of using the nearby sand around him. They wont be of much use to itachi unless itachi comes up close and takes some sand

True, but the Mangeko (sp?) shiringan can eaisly reach Gaara. After that, it just depends on how fast Itachi is.
