So he makes ppl with Byakugan weaker whts the point of that?

So it could lower it to a destruction point?I don't know I don't have the card.

If he is battling against your opponents Hyuugas, their attack becomes 0, not neccesarily your own

One use for him would be because of the new Neji his effect doesn't allow a head ninja of a team to use jutsu so you can't use Sexy Jutsu or Water Prison Jutsu; so use Hiashi's effect instead it can't be negated by Sharingan or Escape since it happens during the Mission phase.

It could also be used as a tech card in your side boards to lock down taijutstu/bykugan sharingan decks.

Pretty much made to break the new Neji and just make him useless/get him killed. Neji's effect still works, but he'll be 0/0.
He's already a top choice for my sideboard for the next deck. Though you can't stop Neji's effect, you can make him weak.

Guy has Byakugan and is the strongest Earth Ninja currently(unless there's one I missed). Plus, I see a nice combo with him in battle. Might even main deck him if Neji or the rest of the Hyuugas get to common.

Dude...it could be wrong translation. It could say instead " one character without Byugakan turn to zero/zero...so yeaa.. doesnt make sense making neji zero or something.. ehhh we'll see.

The reason for his effect reflects the fact that main branch gave the side branch ( I think that's what it was called) those curse seals and those seals, when activated, can kill a side branch person, or just give them a MAJOR headache. Ok, they're made for sealing off any info of their eye to enemy nations...blah blah blah...

Anyways, his ability is pretty much made directly for Neji since Neji is a Side Branch and he's Main Branch. His effect is just him making Neji's mark hurt him bad enough that he can't fight right. :p Now why he would hurt his own daughters (in the card game) is beyond me.

The new neji will be very common. I will run Hiashi even if he was vannila, because I am goin to run some kind of taijutsu. But, his effect makes him even better, for killinh that neji.


PS. Hiashi is taijutsu, right?

I got 2 questions

1. Is his effect mandatory (like do you have to use it at the mission phase)
2. If it is mandatory, what happens if he is the only ninja w/ byaugan

If it was mandatory, then thaty would suck

the effect can be escape jutsued because escape jutsu doesnt counter other cards. At the time that escape jutsu resolves the target's stats become their printed values.

Like everyone said. Hiashi is the best earth (the new asuma will be nice as well) He has alot of nice traits and he can hit the other byakugan decks hard.

Not to mention he's the new Tai beast! Give it up for a man who helps a tai deck do something other than pump.
