I do not think they should pass ten, although we know SSJ4 Goku is a thousand times stronger than the original goku, it obviously shouldn't have that much power.....
I think that cell should not have a stat past seven or 8 combat, as I want all turn 6s to be close rather than how it is in the anime... thus making SSJ2 a 7 with an good effect, SSJ3 with 8 and a amazing game breaking effect, and SSJ4 with an amazingly broken effect and 9 for stats.. does anyone agree it would feel stupid having Cell's stats be double freiza's, therefore, I think rather than having amazing stat boosts I would prefer a system where the higher up they get, the more game breaking the effect is... Also, they should have a better technique pool (lets say Kamehameha requires Goku, Gohan, Goten, Cell, and some other people.... its effect should be somewhere around give one damage to an enemy, with 2 or less toughness assuming toughness works the way Zero says it should...) In this case SSJ4 Goku's 10x Kamehameha should be exclusive to him and give 2 damage if they have 5 or less toughness, and 1 if they have more... The meaning of that is they the higher form you are the better techniques you can use and the more "toughness" you should have, also this is somewhat true to the anime if we count their stat as their physical strenght stat... agree, disagree? |

Im a little confused r u saying a all most ever Warroir would have "toughness" like Toughness: 2 almost like how Mental Power is in naruto?

I very highly doubt that there will be a "Toughness" mechanism to the game. If you look at Piccolo's text it doesn't appear to be "Toughness 2" as in a 2nd level of toughness like some other card game. "Toughness 2" appears to be the name of the ability... Not the level of toughness. If that were the case you'd see all of the cards with "Toughness X" which isn't the case.
Also in reference to the main topic of the post... There won't be stats beyond 9/9. Because this game uses the Naruto template it will be similar to Naruto and possibly cross-compatible. They will keep the game very similar in gameplay mechanics as well. We can already see from the few character cards that they've teased us with that what I say is true. As for the different levels and "Growth" from Naruto... That's anyone's guess at this point especially since the Frieza card we've seen is his Final Form. This may very well work like the Gaara/Gaara(Possessed)/Shukaku from Naruto where they'll add in "Name: Frieza" which will let you only have 1 of each form out on the field at a given time. |

I am hopeful that toughness is a keyword effect not an effect name but who can tell unless they realease the rule book

I don't think combat stats will go past ten. Naruto is moving onto it's 9th set and has yet to break that barrier, yet there are plenty power ninjas in the game. Heck, even the most arguably powerful being in the Naruto universe; the Nine-tailed Fox, couldn't break the 10 barrier and is at 9/9 9/9...

As long as effect text can keep things balanced, I doubt it'll break the 10 barrie too.
