Default Tournament Names and Ranks?

So, I was thinking, what will the ranks be and what will the tournaments be called? Well, since in DB there is a long line of fighting tournaments I guess they will be named the same. Then for ranks, I guess it might be after Super Saiyan levels, or just ranks like in a fighting tournament.

I know that it is a while off, but maybe something we say here will help Bandai out.

I think maybe doing a power level type thing will be intresting, like the better you are the higher the power rating.

Yeah, and I guess Sannin rank will be equal to "Over 9000". If that becomes a rank that would be the most win pin.

I thinking the more you win the more your rating goes up.

Well, yeah, thats just like Naruto and every other game that has a "rating" system. But I am talking about "ranks" like in Naruto there are Genin, Chunin, and so on. I am pretty sure they will have a similar system, since Naruto was big for them.

Well, that worked for Naruto because it fits with the universe.

But there isn't any universal ranking system in the Dragon Ball universe. So why create one just for this game?

I think the Power Level system is the easiest way to handle it.

Instead of being able to say "I'm the Sanin of the Mist village", maybe we'll be able to say "I have the highest power level in West City, topping at 100,000." or something.

I agree that it worked for Naruto, but its Bandai, I believe they will use what works. Naruto is there first really big game and you can tell by how the new DB game is almost like Naruto(instead of just using the Japanese one). They will use a rating system(since all games have one), but I do not think people will be running around saying what they are, they will just say, I am rated 10th in the country or what ever. But I believe there will have some type of tournament other then a normal one, (aka a Genin) for players to play in to get a invite to Worlds(aka Sannin).

Well, there's plenty of tournaments in the Dragon Ball universe.

For example, there's the World Tournament Hurcule (or Mr. Satan) did.

There's the original Budokai Tenkaichi Tournament.

There's the other world tournament.

There's also the Cell Games Tournament.

So, I mean... take your pick.

Yeah, as I said in the first post, there are a long line of tournament, as you just posted. That gives Bandai alot of options.

For sure, I don't think we will have a problem with tournament names. Bandai is really good about creating a Role Play universe through the different level of tournaments.
