Default Naruto and Dragonball, the Same?

Bandai has stated that the games will be similiar.

Lets assume that they'll keep the Battle Rewards and Turn Drops.
Battle Rewards obviously become Dragonball instead of 10 you need 7. Simple.

You have turn drops, but lets look at this a little more in depth..

Early drops..

Dragonball Characters, especially Goku and Krillin.
Kids like Kid Trunks, Goten, Pan, etc.
Kais with ongoing effects
Dende
Minions.

Mid drops..

Teens like SSJ2 Gohan, Future Trunks, Videl
Dragonball characters that are teens, Yamcha, Bulma
Minions, once again, but ones with bigger roles like Jeice, Guldo, Burter, Vinegar, Spice, Turles.
Lesser Z Warriors like Krillin, Tien, etc.
Kame

Late drops..
This is obvious, the big boys.
Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo.
Also though villians. Frieza, Cell, Recoome, Cpt. Ginyu, Buu

Really late drops..

Oozarus, very similiar to summons in Naruto
SSJ4s

This game and Naruto are so similiar its incredible, now lets go onto Jutsus/Techniques

Techniques would be very similiar to Jutsus, heres an example

Masenko Ha
Saiyan|Saiyan
Requirements: Kid Gohan
Effect: Select two opponents battling the user. Those opponents receive 1 damage.

Now, Missions can go a few ways.

1) They can stay similiar to missions, have different events from the show.
2) Kais and teachers could be missions and cause different things to happen over the course of the battling, all while giving you Ki
3) Some unique thing Bandai thinks of.

Obviously 1 would be most likely.

Chakra would become Ki.
Discard would become Other World or HFIL.

The problem with the Dragonball thing is that there are Dragonball cards, and Wish events that only work when you have all 7 Dragonballs.

Thus, the game couldn't end from that manner.

Yeah, when i first heard of this game i was hoping it would be character based like the DBZ games of the past. But hearing it is similar to naruto also peaks my interest. I cannot wait for more INFO!!!

I see the wish cards..hmm.. perhaps you would need to draw your wish card stating you win while having 7 DB, but the problem is that your opponent can take DB making it difficult. IDK. Good point.

From what I'm reading about the European version of the game. You search out a dragonball from your deck at the end of every turn. I assume that means that after seven turns you will have all the dragonballs where you will be able to make a wish.

It's probably better just to let BoA release the rulebook since speculating is probably just going to get confusing.

hopefully there will be "shuffle target dragonball back into it's owner's deck" effects. Otherwise, whichever "wish" card is best will be un-needly expensive

Please wait for the rulebook to be released before speculating on how the game mechanics will work. Thank you.
