Villain & Unique

I'm having trouble distinguishing between what characters might be found in Unique and Villain. Based on the examples, it appears that they could fall under both symbols.

Unique examples; King Piccolo & Piccolo
Villain Examples; Cell, Androids, Mercenary Tao

The only thing that I see in common is that the Unique symbol features Nameks and the Villain symbol features androids and cyborgs.

I think Villains will probably be any bad guy from earth. And I could probably see some of the fighters from the "after life"(forgot the name) tournament being in Unique.

So Unique might be good guy aliens.

One small issue that can easily be dispensed of but shouldn't Vegeta fall under the Unique class?

Also, King Piccolo was evil until he died, he never became a good guy so he couldn't be Unique with that logic.

Maybe Unique characters are different versions of a charcter.

(EX: King Piccolo, Piccolo, Piccolo w/ Kami, Piccolo w/ Nail,)

I have no clue, this is just speculation.

Well, this is not Naruto so we might get characters with different symbols. But you see where my idea was going. But I guess another name for Unique will be "We needed a place to put this guy".

Then why wouldn't Piccolo be "Alien"? Shouldn't that be his place?

Well, so far Alien makes since. Its all the bad guys from space.

They should've done Saiyans, Aliens, Earthlings, Villans, and Dead [(for lack of a better term) I mean after they die w/ their little halos]. This way a character could have both "Saiyan" and "Dead," for example. And they could remake cards of dead villans (similar to a USe Zabuza coming out now in Naruto).

P.S: Why is Krillin in Super? This would make sense for DB but not so much in DBZ.

This is the way I see it so far.

Super= Best fighters on Earth with great powers of chi.
Earth= Normal people(things) that live on earth.
Aliens= Bad guys from space.
Unique= Guys that didn't fit in the others.
Villains= Bad guys from earth.

I think I understand it now although Earth basically sucks -.-
Super: Saiyans and humans related to them
Earth: Lesser characters you fight on earth but don't necessarily have special powers
Alien: Enemies from other planets
Unique: From other planets but not an enemy; on Goku's side
Villain: Enemies originating from Earth
