Default Concerned about the game support

Look, before everybody jumps my case I am just excited as everyone else that a new Dragonball CCG is coming and even more excited that Score is not involved. My concern however, it the lack of info as we approach almost a month after the announcemet was made. Now there are posts from a couple moderators, but compaired to the volume of fans already here their voices are just not heard. There is a community here dying for infomation and rolling in rumors and guessing at how this game will work. It would make us all feel better to know that Bandai cares and wants to make this game great. I don't want to see another game hurt the way Score did in the end, when they ingnored the community that had made the game the success that it had been.

Again, please don't view this as I thread trashing this game. I am counting the days until the release and working to build support in my area everyday. I am only concerned about the fact we know about as much now as we did a month ago.

And I already know thats what we have heard. But like with the 3 cards that have popped up on another page, we still are not sure if they are real or fake. You would think Bandai would want to clear that up.

Yeah.. I totally know where your comming from Man. Everyday i check these forums and hope to find that official previews have been released, and i am usually dissappointed. Not to mention why haven't we even seen official bandai releases of the cards that were previewed in SJ? Like give us something here.. these boards are dryer then the Sahara.

Personally, I'm not so worried about the prize support, since I assume it will be something similar to what Naruto got in the beginning, since they are trying to push this game pretty hard.

My main concern for this game is that I would like to know what the actual RULES for said game are. I currently play another TCG, and am thinking about selling an entire collection to get into DBZ again, as I have played every incarnation of DBZ as a card game, even Ani-Mayhem.

I hope that the mods and powers that be post a rules document soon, so the community can be ready if the game does differ from Naruto (which it seems it does, given wish cards and dragon balls...and who knows what they'll do for win conditions), and the rest of us can decide whether we want to play a Naruto clone if it is indeed the exact same as Naruto.

They want player hype to be at a high at the time of release to get that tiny snowball rolling at the top of a mountain.

I would imagine in the weeks and months to come that we will get little tidbits about the rules, images, and maybe even some preview cards. We'll see though. One thing is for sure, the fans of the Dragon Ball license are die hard. This is great for a game that comes out into the card game market. I'm excited for the potential of this game and am hoping beyond hope that the game play will indeed be great.

Yeah, there is no rush. Bandai knows what they are doing in terms of marketing their game. They will supply us with more information when they feel the time is right. I mean, we are the ones purchasing their game and they are the ones promoting it. If we let eachother do our roles valiantly, everyone can be happy.

I don't see how an interview with James Takenaka will supply us with any heroing information. We've been able to confirm a lot of things on our own through Private Messages. It appears to me that the interview will only re-confirm what has already been said. I guarantee that James will be practicing some restraint whereas he won't be giving away anymore information than he has to.

In other news, Cyber Realms Gaming will be getting Demo Deck Previews this week. They will be shown off in the DragonBall CCG section. The previews will give us insight into what will be given out in Demo Decks, the actual contents of the demo decks, and some insider information into the rules & mechanics of the DragonBall CCG.

I hope the demo decks include full decks and not only cards to create a hypothetical situation where you can finish the game from that standpoin.t
