if you played Naruto you are aware of the JPN game Naruto Shippuuden which will not be coming to america becuse part 2 will be fusing with the legacy card game. My theory is they may bring some of the mech. from that game to this game, for those who don't know the rules click the link and search for Kintaro's post.
http://www.bandaicg.com/naruto/showthread.php?t=16748&page=29 highlight - can't deck out when run out of cards simple shuffle your discard pile into your deck. - dead ninja go to chackra pile - charge chackra from top of deck or from hand so do you think they may use some of these rules, what are your feelings if they do? I would actually like that alot. If the starter deck size of 30 is any indication, being able to reshuffle your deck is really good. Plus, chakra would be really hard to do in a 30 card deck because every card counts really and 30 cards isn't alot to work with.
I actually hope this happens and it would be really funny because there are alot of complaints that this game is too similar to naruto but in this case it would be similar to a naruto game that we will never get in the US. |

I think there will be 40 card decks, the starter includes exclusive cards and a 10 card pack so it should push it over 40.

Oh my bad. The story on the front page says that the starters will have a 30 card deck with 1 of 4 wish cards and 3 of 6 exsclusive cards so I guess 34 cards. I guess the deck will be just for practice and the actually deck will have to be 40.
Any way back to shippuden. How does the draw system work in that game? Is it different at all from naruto. The reason I ask is because a game like kingdom hearts tcg has the whole shuffle you discard pile back in to your deck but you also get to draw a fresh hand every turn back up to 6 or 7, can't remember right now. |

well if thats the case then I can't see bandai actually doing the no deck-out thing. But i'd probably still like to see them try it.

Don't get me wrong I want them to do it, but bandai here in the US apperently likes to do their own thing. By that I mean they completely changed an entire game, the japanese bandai dbz game, just to make it like naruto and then they plan on just printing newer shippuden cards as just part of the old naruto game instead of the new shippuden game.
Regardless of what they do I still plan on playing and enjoying this game. |

I would love for Bandai to integrate those rules into the DragonBall CCG. I especially like the no deck-out rule. It's a mechanic that every CCG should have. It eliminates a win condition but it brings the game back for its original stronghold where characters battle against eachother for supremacy and to declare themselves as the dominant fighter. Deck-out just doesn't justify that type of atmosphere for me.
