What are the expansions going to be based on?

I am just wondering what are the expansions going to be based on? I mean we are seeing Frieza and SS Goku, so they are obviously not going to be episode based.

This has been previously stated but the game is not linear based like most other Anime based CCGs. This game will have sets that include cards from all 3 series dragonball, dragonball Z and Dragonball GT. The first set only contains cards form the first 2x series. We assume sets will however follow a general theme. This set is called "Warriors Return" i believe so most likely to help the game they will release alot fo our favorite characters to help build the player base. But of course right now this is all spectulation.

What Bill has said above is correct. The sets will not be released in chronological order according to the sagas in all three series. Instead, Bandai has chosen to release the sets as themes. The next set might feature several androids and the fusions of a couple characters.

Personally, I like this idea. It brings about a never-ending Collectable Card Game that will continue to please DragonBall fans with new sets every 3-4 months. My reasoning behind such a statement is that due to the fact that the sets will not follow sagas, the set creators have the creative freedmon to re-release different versions of a character from the same saga.

Until they release yet another anime based CCG which will also be compatable but they will further improve on the mechanics of the DBZ game. This new anime CCG would then become the best..

based on the characters from dbz unlike most anime ccg's this game doesnt have to follow the story line since its been completed
