View Full Version : DBZ: Shin Budokai 2 for the PSP-Should I get it?

So Im getting my PSP this week..
I looked at reviews and such for the game, but Im not sure whether to attempt to get this or FF7 Crisis Core (which is also a amazing game if you didn't know)
I liked both the Budoki Tenkaichi 1-2 and 1-3 games but I wanted to know a few things about it first...

1. is Baby vegeta, Super 17, and golden Oozaku Baby Vegeta in it?
2. does it have alot of characters like Tenkaichi games?
3. is the story mode fun?
4. is the giant monster thing from movie 13 in it?
5. are any giant monster things such as great apes in it?

I wouldn't bother getting a fighter of this calibur for handheld. Your better off buying Tenkaichi 3 for a console. You get more characters, better graphics, and the screen won't be miniscule. I reccomend buying FF7 as it is the best Final Fantasy game out of the bunch.

i played shin budokai 1 and i liked it not sure on all the minor details about it though

Shin Budokai 2 (Actually called: Another Road) is AWSOME!!!!!!!!!! I love it. It has Bardock and Future Gohan. also, story mode is cool too. And you can get Gogeta and Vegito as individual characters. I would still have my game, but i let a friend barrow it, then it got stolen from him from another kid i know. so now i dont have it. But the other kid says he never took it, a week later i saw his PSP with Shin Budokai 2 save data. Then my friend that hod gotten the game stolen from him said that he saw the kid with the game this last saturday. So i am going to try to get it back. cause i loved it.

Shin Budokai is good gameplay wise, plays like B3, if you find 1 or 2 cheap, I say it worth a shot.

the idea of me buyin any of the new DBZ video games is out of the question(considering that the tenkaichi searies really ticked me off)i wont be botherin im just gonna get crisis core: final fantasy VII and stick to that for about 100 years,lol

I pretty much liked all the games created except that one where you travel like on a game map and fight whoever you run into
