Starter Deck News!!!

I just foun out that there will be 4 different decks. Freiza A and B and Goku A and B. If u already knew this srry. but i didn't

I havn't heard anything about this either. Can we get some proof please? You'd think that if someone were to post this they would realise that proof is required.

The only news about starter decks I know of is the first post in the News section in the forums, which says there will only be 2 starter decks(A and B) with 4 exclusive wish cards and 6 exclusive cards. Each starter only has 1 of the 4 wish cards and 3 of the 6 exclusive cards.

Starter Deck A has:

30 card deck
1x 10 card booster pack

also included in ST Deck A:
either Wish card 1 or 2
3 of the 6 starter exclusive cards(unsure if these will be fixed or random)

Starter Deck B has:

30 card deck
1x 10 card booster pack

also included in ST Deck B:
either Wish card 3 or 4
3 of the 6 starter exclusive cards(unsure if these wil be fixed or random)

So it seems there will only be 2 Starter decks and no word on whether those two will be Goku and Frieza.

Pretty bad in a draft though, especially if decks are limited so that Heroes can only play with Heroes, and Villains vice-versa.

I doubt that rule would exist since they're making it similar to the Naruto CCG and Orochimaru can be in a leaf deck.

I don't know where you got that idea but the decks definately won't be limited like that. They will be similar to the Naruto CCG where you can play Water / Fire or Hero / Villain.

Yup, it's definately a good thing :) If we could only play one type of character card then that would really suck. AT the momeont we don't know how the events and technique cards will work and therefor we really can't judge whether we can play multiple types of character cards but I imaigne you can and still have a balanced deck.

If they are limited to element I hope characters are not limited to the elements. ex: frieza can have a alien card and a villian card.

Yeah, the Goku does seem interesting. I hope that we get previews as to the Wish cards inside the starters. It's probably worth purchasing one of each starters in order to get all the super rares and exclusive cards for trade fodder.

I'm amused by the mistake that ToyWiz made though. Under manufacture it's listed as Score instead of Bandai.
