I have not had the chance to get any dbz yet(I had play time with the demo decks but that dosnt mean much) and I just wanted to get everyones opinion on the game so far.

What are the good parts?

What needs to be worked on by bandai?

What are some deck types that have emerged?

Your favorite cards?

That kind of stuff.

Also im curious as the what the foils look like, if anyone could post some sweet looking foil pics I would be very thankful.

Agreed. Don't really like the way the foils are. Sometimes I can't even tell they are foils. Other than that, I love the game :)

What are the good parts? Everything, mechanics are great, no insane techniques, and everything is just about fair.

What needs to be worked on by bandai? They gave Alien EVERYTHING this set, so Earth needs a big boost, along with Villain, than maybe give Super some more cards so they can put up with Mono-Alien decks without as much struggle.

What are some deck types that have emerged? Well, a lot. I see the meta consisting of Mono-Alien, Mono-Unique, mainly, with hybrids mixed in the bunch and Mono-Super standing on top of Teir 2, or inside Teir 1.

Your favorite cards? Ranfan was at first, but there aren't many decks that run Human+Male, so I'd probobly say Baba 1st, than in no order, Goku SS, Piccolo, Dende's Wish, Upa's Wish, and etc.

That kind of stuff.

Also im curious as the what the foils look like, if anyone could post some sweet looking foil pics I would be very thankful. I think they look pretty cool, but that's all on a matter of opinion and prefrences I guess, so I'll leave that up to you.

My opinion so far, only thing I couldn't really thoroughly answer is favorite cards, but mostly just the supers, than a few cards like Baba, Ranfan, King Kai, Goku T0, and etc.

The gameplay is good, the game doesnt end on turn 4-5, and if you miss drops it doesnt mean auto loss.
--
for now its set 1, i dont think much could be worked on the game as a whole, because again its set 1, lets wait till set 2.

--
Deck types, so far i can easily see about 15 - 16 different decks.

thats 5x mono plus the combinations = 5element deck, yes there is a way to do this.
-----

fav. Pafu Pafu, it makes for a great 5 element control deck. why use only super when you can use all.

---

the foils are just foils. the SR's are just SR.
