Random Wishes? I think not

Ok so this is probably common knowledge but as if the Goku starter wasn't busted enough, out of like 14~16 starters today we noticed the following at ATF:

The Goku Starter only has Upa's Wish and Frieza's Wish.

The Freiza Starter only has Oolong's Wish and Pilaf's Wish.

Why would you not put the 2 good guy wishes (Upa and Oolong) in 1 deck and the other 2 in another to balance it out? I'm confused. Whatever.

Anyone else find this out?

Yeah, I guess that would have made more sense. The difference would be marginal, though, compared to actually stating which wish you will get in the deck, like Sideboards in Naruto decks. =/

Yeah, but does it REALLY matter?
I mean I know what you are saying, but who is keeping track right? I mean then we could also ask why the hell is Puar in the villan deck? I mean, it's not a BIG problem but I know what you are saying.

i opened 3 goku starters and a frieza and got 2 frieza last wishes and 2 oolong wishes

Read the back of the box...it says you get 1 of 2 wishes chosen for the decks so Tsu is correct about it not being random, and is right about the whole deck theme weirdness.

It is random.

Reading from back of box: "1 of exclusive Wishes for set B (1 of 2)" This is from the Goku. All of my Goku boxes (3) say that and I've got 2 Upa and one Frieza Wish.

that is because you can get either upa or frieza in the Goku deck, thus fufilling the 1 out of 2 wish statement on the back of the box. It is a 50/50 shot with each deck to get a specific wish.

to the degree of," it's either this or that." But tsu was trying to explain that they have a restriction on the randomness of the wishes, like you can't get upa's wish from a frieza starter deck, and you can't get oolong's wish from a goku deck.

Good job being completely rude for no reason. If you notice, he just signed up here recently, and he even said in his initial post that it might be common knowledge, and in his last line asked if anyone else noticed this.

Also, I didnt know about the wishes not being random in both decks.

I got 4 free decks at origins. My understanding was that the wishes were random, not that 2 were exclusive to each deck, and from those you would recieve 1.

What's this?? Possible misprint scenario sighting - hilarious stuff and I'll be sure to bring it up when the locals at my shop (shout outs to Brody, Mophats, and Liquid) try to tell me they know which "Wish" card would come in a precon. I only buy the latest (and of course greatest) products so I'm on the prowl for good wishes.

I personally did not know this, but whoever did the Frieza deck fails.

It is a decent plan though because right now you need Frieza 3 out of FD and the wishes from the GD.
