Kaio-Ken wasnt as good as i anticipated

We knew about Goku SS
One Last Attack is way too high of a cost (4 chi and the Injured user is discarded) just to injure your opponent. If it just gave one damage so you could take the target with you that would be better, but as it is, I won't expect to see it played much.
Kaio-Ken is ok, I wasn't suprised that Goku T5 or higher part, but I was hoping for the effect not to be so restricted.

i think all in all the super cards are very good, goku is a asmome card even though we've allready seen it, one last attack is a ok damager but i think its price is very steep, kaio-ken is a very good power up card for whats out so far and it will get used alot.
One Last Attack would've been good, but the cost KILLS it.
Everybody already knew about SS Goku.
Kaio-Ken isn't as good as I thought it would be. It's effect is nice, but the cost is meh.

i have to say kaio-ken is an ok card the goku we knew about but still good and the other tech is well ok i dont see it geting much play
I think Kaio-ken could be very good for a final blow kind of situation. If you need to slide up to a huge strength to get victory or overwhelming victory for the win, it could be just right. Might just show up in low numbers in decks, as if you draw it early game you just use it as chi.
Zach
I guess so, nobody would really run it in trip's though, but could be decent as a random 1-of, maybe 2 if you have the room.

I dont like any of them. One last Attack is a horrible card. I would only play it if i had many Warriors on the field. The cost is way 2 high 2.

Zachvery true i think the big boost will be very good but seeing as how you need the starter goku or the super saiyan in the deck eh lol

Kaio-ken really can only be used by SS Goku for the current meta. Everyone is going to run T0 Goku, so until a new good T0 comes out, it wont see play. I would just use the super tech that gives +2/+0 for 1 super and it can be used by anyone.
One last Attack, as others have said, is just bad. The cost is too high, you die at the end, but also, you have to have a dragonball, so that means you lose a dragonball and they are very important to get that wish out.

SS Goku is great.
One Last Attack just plain blows for reasons Evil Jim stated.
Kaio-Ken is decent.

You take it from your hand, pay 2 super, and deploy it....

I'm going to assume that since Goku has Super Heal, that the image we have of Vegeta has been changed to Super Heal as well, correct?
Also, the entire list IS going up today right? (You know why I'm asking)

One last attack is just to costly for what it does. Its just bad
Kaio-Ken is ok, it could of been better. Probably will not see much play cuz of T0 Goku.

you dont need a goku in play or anything? and it can't be in play at the same time as a normal goku right

the thing is there is a lot of things ive seen so far that, as a naruto player i see as " too expensive for what it does"
but thinking about it, i have seen quite a few like that...so if there are many "over priced" or "not worth it" cards...then arnt we kinda forced to run them?
i mean what if that one last attack thing is like the best source of warrior hate super gets this set?
i guess bandai is trying to stay away from what they did to naruto and are making certain actions more difficult to do than we are used to so they seem "bad" at first glance.
the only thing i dont really like about the high cost of many of the cards is the fact that there are multiple phases in which playing techs is possible, so if you use to much in one phase then you could be screwed when the next phase comes along...i prefer narutos "jutsu phase"
lol i think i started rambling there for a second
anyway my point is that i wouldnt be suprised at all if, for example, one last attack became not only a good card, but even a staple in super decks
though admittedly i do agree that 4 is kinda pushing it, i mean my first reaction with even 3 is "meh", but 4

Its not even the energy. The only card I believe is "too expensive" in this game is Mercilees attack, because too many cards stop it for much less than it costs to cast it. The problem with this card is the requirements of having an injured character WITH A DB COIN ON HIM, and then having to kill him by teh effect of the card, leaving your opponent open to gaining BRs (because this IS a chump block tech), all to just injure (not damage) 1 character.
This is NOT even CLOSE to a fair trade off. tack on the 4 energy and T4 cost and you have a jutsu that just takes away so much, and gives back so little.
As far as it being played, I just find it unlikely, with far superior cards for super in teh current pool.

Goku SS has the characteristic of Name:Goku so no you can't have a T0 Goku or T5 Goku in play with Goku SS. Goku SS can be deployed without another Goku in play you control. He is just like any other warrior.

Kaio-Ken reminds me of Mass Shadow Clone Jutsu...Except with a requirement, a limit, and turn 5. =/
Edit: And only half the boost ._.

you guys have to remember that the game is still in its baby steps. the developers probably didnt want to undercost cards that could have been better appropriete in a smaller or higher cost.
you will see some cards that eventually will be saying that its way too undercosted and then others like Kaio-ken that are overcosted.
it takes time to get good... and alot of man power.

maybe in the future it will be a fair trade, who knows what the future holds
man maybe making it a revampt naruto was a bad idea...or at the very least giving it to bandai was a bad idea
because of that we have the same people over here doing the exact same thing
now i realize that this enire set is pretty much revealed but this will apply to future sets since my point is basically that this card could be good next set or later <of course it is quite possible that it could be good, or at the very least the best we can do, now>
but really, just like in naruto the set comes out and people point at card X and call it broken and point at card Y and call it trash
then the set comes out andthen the reverse becomes true (to an extent)
instead of wasting time pointing fingers at cards, why not just wait for it to come out and see what the deal is then

Even by looking at Merciless Attack, it is obvious that the cost is far too high. You could do something like combine it with Solar Flare, but it's no where near worth it. As of now, the only viable decks are Mono-Alien, Mono-Unique, and Mono-Super, Super/X.

Pretty much quoted for truth, though we haven't playtested EVERY card in the set.
maybe in the future it will be a fair trade, who knows what the future holds
While that IS possible, it would involve bandai making am event card that says something like "when your injured character is discarded by a card effect, he is not discarded. When your opponents character is injured by a card effect, discard him instead", but even then, who would actualy take teh deckspace to try and combo the cards :\
No ones denying that in the future a card thats bad now could become playable. Its happened in naruto a dozen times. Whats being said, is that card IS bad now. Its too much of a trade off to be used over other cards in teh current pool.
man maybe making it a revampt naruto was a bad idea...or at the very least giving it to bandai was a bad idea

The same thing being, analyzing a cards playability? Gasp, blasphomy!
Seriously though. Any competative card game is the same way.
now i realize that this enire set is pretty much revealed but this will apply to future sets since my point is basically that this card could be good next set or later <of course it is quite possible that it could be good, or at the very least the best we can do, now>
Based on teh steap requirements, its unlikely, but no one has said it cant ever be playable. everyone is calling it bad, because it IS bad NOW.
but really, just like in naruto the set comes out and people point at card X and call it broken and point at card Y and call it trash
then the set comes out andthen the reverse becomes true (to an extent)
Except that that has never occured. On rare occasions (I can think of 1 time) cards will be pressumed to be broken, and then turn out to just be good/decent. Never has a card deemed trash when revealed, become amazingly busted after release.
instead of wasting time pointing fingers at cards, why not just wait for it to come out and see what the deal is then
...Because this is a public forum, where we are supposed to disscuss the game. If my opinion is that card X is bad, and many othe rpeople feel teh same way, why should we not say so? If we are wrong then we are wrong, but there is no harm in stating your opinion.
