raditz is bad, 1st tech is bad, stomping is nuts.
I would use the first two in a sealed tournament, but probably not likely in constructed. Really, really like stomping. :) Excited for tomorrow's preview...

I believe Dnaraku and I stated that it seems like Alien has everything. They have the biggest character in the game (freiza FF), a good 0 drop, the best chi generation (Invasion), and all the best techniques (Deathball, Resisting, roar, stomping). all its missing is draw power, but in this game there is next to no drawpower, so it isnt a big deal :\

Alien has definitely been getting the better cards. The Stomping Technique card is just nuts. The other two are only playable if your short of good cards in Sealed Deck Tournament. Though, I wouldn't mind having a foiled Raditz, just because.

No joke, id love a foiled version of most of these cards, just so I can get them signed (I collected signed cards).

As stated, Raditz is a mediocre warrior for the turn cost, though if more Saiyan support shows up later, he may get used (for example, World Martial Arts Tournament for Saiyans or something in that vein). Appearance is too random to work properly, and too dependent on your opponent playing a lot of the same turn cost warrior (which would only happen late game, anyway). Stomping is just ridiculous - I really love it. Powerful, depicts a great moment in the show, and the art is coming out of the border in a very cool way. :D

I think Raditz is okay. I mean it is a pretty good Warrior for Alien, but something else will most likely be splashed.
Appearance's art is very cool. The effect, not so much.
Stomping is really good.

i'll only comment on the Stomping since its the only good one today.
This card can distroy any and all defences your opponent was hoping for. I agreed that Alien themed decks are going to be played alot for this first format just because they do seem to have everything.

ok wtf how much more power are they going to give alien in the first set! i think right now they are the most powerfull type and earth is the weakest, i would love to see some more balance through the diffrent symbols.

I actually like the Raditz Warrior. Its not a terribly weak card and its easy 2 play. good for starters at the beginning of the game

I actually have a question about the "Stomping" card.
I did not play Naruto, so my understanding of the DB:CCG system is gained only from the online rulebook until I can get my hands on the actual cards.
The card is played during the "Strategy" step by the "Attacker". This means that it is played before the "Organization Phase".
Therefore, when the card is played, no teams have been created, as I understand it. For this reason I am curious as to why the card reads "Remove Target Warrior from its Team".
Do I have this correct?
If this is the case, then the only reason for that kind of text is to safeguard the system for future sets when, possibly, some kind of strategy card comes out that allows team organization before the "Organization Phase". What an awkward card that would be.
Am I in-line here or is my understanding of the rules a bit confused?

I'm pretty sure it says that, just in case it is in the team. If it kept a whole team from being sent out, it would be too good.

since you are the attacker, your oppoenet will not have a chance to organize that turn. only the "attacker" organizes during their organize step. so your oppoenents teams stay the same unti their next organize step (except the head of the team, which is determined right before teh team is sent out to battle)
