yes, but how do you get dragonballs onto the characters, and what are dragonballs on the characters for anyway?

How do you think transformation will work.
I been thinking maybe you discard a dragonball that is attached to the character in order to transform.

don't know I am just speculating, but I know based on Goku's effect they can attach to the warrior card.

yes, you are correct there. I just hope they come out with a rule book soon. Becuase i really want to play this game. I have loved DBZ ever since it first came out. I had played the Original DBZ Game, and the DBGT game (Had a Saiyan deck with Gogeta SS4). and now they are coming out with a New DBZ CCG which is just like the naruto CCG (which i am good at). So hopefully i will be good at this game.

That sounds very plausible. The effect of the previewed Goku deals with attaching dragonballs. We have no clue what they are meant to be used for. It's quite possible that they will be used for transformations!
I wonder if this means that you would have to attach seven balls to the same character just to use the wish, and if your character gets destroyed you basically lose all your balls and any chance of using a wish card.

I don't know hard to say with out the rules but it may meant that db are easyer to get like you can add a dragonball once per turn or something like that.

Well, one of the cards was Freiza, and it was his Final form. So, it looks like you will just be able to play the cards normally. So, you can play a SS Goku, but you can't have a normal Goku in play.

But it said "Final Form" in Bold so maybe we do have to do something

same here, I hope it is easy enough to make transforming useable in competive play.

I don't think so. The Freiza card's name looks just like "Gaara of the Desert (Possessed Mode)". All of those Gaara cards with Possessed Mode, you have to do something to play it, in the text of the card. The Freiza card just has a ability.

It could, but I doubt it.

The most likely case is that it will be similar to how you would put Gaara of the Desert (Possessed Mode) into play. Meaning we will probably see either events or technique cards for that.

I don't think it will be like Gaara, because Gaara's cards(the ninja them selfs) tell you how to play them, but Frieza does not have that text. I think DB card game will make it easy, by just letting you play the character for the cost. Since this games does not follow the time line, and just has different characters from different times, and in later parts Goku and others can just turn it off or on when they want.

Probably been said before but I'm not going to look.
But Goku will have a trait like Saiyan, an event card will say like place a coin on a warrior with a SS attribute. He now has Super Saiyan and stuff like that.
I doubt that becuse there should be a ss goku card.
he is wrong, if they have a final form freiza card, they will have a SSJ Goku card

I think transforming will be like growth in Naruto, except there will be growth levels. An example could be a regular Goku card might have Growth, a SS Goku might have Growth 1, SS2 Goku might have Growth 2, and so on. In that way a Reg. Goku could growth into SS and that SS could growth into SS2, but Reg. Goku cannot be growthed right into SS2.
