Chaining, characters, deck types, fusions, and so much more.
All of this is being discussed on this page already.
But what about making this game a great success? What are all YOU going to do to make sure this game will be successful?
Other than the fact that we'll buy decks, packs, and boxes, because we know everyone here will buy even a little of the product. But I believe events are what make or break a game.
Talking to store owners and asking if they will get the game, as well as hold local tournaments I think is a great start.
So, everyone, any ideas on what can be done now to help this game have a great launch?

It will likely get publicity at Comicon and other conventions, bandai might send advertisements to hand out at Naruto tourneys, and oh course normal advertisments

What will we do? Well, if you're a fan of the show, and the old game made by Score, I would say play it and make sure that others are drawn into the game to ensure it succeeds.

Tv advertisements that are hopefully better than the 40 second ones Naruto gets...
And tournaments, of course.

40 seconds is the average commercial time

GoldenWill and I will be doing the following to promote the game in our CCG community;
- Hosting Tournaments At Two Locations
- Holding online demo's every week at certain locations
- Holding demo's and hosting tournaments at Ai-Kon In July
I beleive that is enough to build a large playerbase for the game. We are also considering giving away additional prizes at the local tournaments.

it'd be cool if they gave you some cards for coming by during comic con starter's would be nice of course.

I believe that the best promotion the Dragonball CCG could be given is having demos throughout all of Gen Con. Granted, the game probably will be released to the public before then (I'm not clear on Gen Con's actual dates), but it will help to draw more players into the game and enable them to understand exactly what the game is about.
Yeah, Starter Decks and Rule Books can help with that as well, but having demos of how the game is actually played will often spark interest. I know it sparked some interest in Naruto in Charlottesville when some of the people here saw the games being played by my friends and I.
I don't know if I'm going to play it very seriously or not, but I'm already waiting to take the judge test for it because I want to start support for the game at my local store early.

I plan on becoming a judge for it as well. I already have a store down here that would be willing to let me use their facility for tournaments and such. I just need to wait on the judge application to go up.
