Not sure when it will be released in the US, but I'm sure that there will be something posted later as soon as Dragonball Z Burst Limit is released in June.

I think that's a possibility since people that liked the show will start with that again and who knows where they'll go from there. My card shop doesn't think they'll be a big enough player base so right now the owner isn't going to carry it so i'm going to be spending time talking some sense into him.

The only complaint that I can honestly see with the Dragonball Online game, which I don't think matters much, is that there hasn't been a half breed race added to the roaster.
And we all know that there is a to of people out there who would like to play as a half human-half saiya-jin race in this game. Also, I believe the changeling race (Frieza and Cooler) won't be seeing any kind of love in this game - but I'm not to concerned about that, so long as the Majin race proves itself to be pretty descent character wise.

yeah that's what hurts me the most no changelinks. they also need to give you the option of being a bad guy, blowing up planets to cheer me up after a bad day seems fun bahahahha.

Just like with City of Heroes having the City of Villains expansion, I have a feeling that Dragonball Online will have some kind of expansion later on where you can be a villain character - and hopefully toss in some changeling character skins as well.

I would be highly highly surprised to see this come to consoles in America......especially the 360. Consoles are slow to pick up MMOs as it is, and the 360 is very american, and DBZ is very japanese. I can only hope and pray this would come to the PS3 (which is def won't).

All in all, I'm skeptical of this game coming to America, let alone a console...

PS3 would never see it, just because the internet service is free. It would be so much easier to make it for the 360 and computer, since you actually would have to pay for the online service. Granted 360 is only 50 bucks for a year, but that's still 50 bucks you need to pay in order to get online, as well as whatever the game will cost.

And considering how many people got into Elder Scrolls and Worlds of Warcraft, I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit to see this game making its presence known within the states sometime in the future. When that time will be, only the developers know for sure.
That, and there was already talks on a few Dragonball Z websites and forums that state the game will be developed for a US release.. but, as I said before, the actual release time is unknown at the prior moment.

This makes no sense since Xbox Live charges for the service, but other games will require monthly fee ( for example, Final Fantasy XI ). So if the game costs 15 monthly fee, then this means your gonna have to pay 50 for the online play PLUS the 15 monthly cost. By the way, Final Fantasy XI is on the PS2, so why can't they do the same with Dragon Ball Z Online?

I rather play it on the PC anyways since on a home console seems to be difficult to play seing how u need a bunch of keys to play.

Well, the way I see it, PS3 is one of the hot game units over in Japan/Asia, as is the Nintendo Wii (same here, too, I suppose), so the reason for a 360 version of the game and not a PS3 would possibly be to bump up the sales of the 360 over there - since it is one of the least than favored units in that country =/

I'd play the PC version myself, but I don't have a good enough computer. And, as for a home console system, I didn't see FF as being hard to play on the console. So, I'd imagine that this game might run itself in pretty much the same way... I guess?

Whether or not the internet service is free has nothing to do with if the game will come out on that console. Like someone said, if the game is going to have a fee, it will be seperate. If anything will see this game, it will be PC. As I said this game is waaay too japanese to come to America, and that's why I doubt it'll even come out. Look at the Gundam MMO, from what i know, that even died in a japan. There were a few hardcore Gundam fans who picked up the japanese version here in the US, but that's it. That's what I would expect to happen to a DBZ MMO.

Wow. Did you even notice the post I made about the 360 getting it as an attempt to boost its sales in japan? Apparently not, since the post you quoted is completely irrelevant to the conversation now.

Besides, with the surge of Dragonball in the US, both DVD and video game wise, I have a feeling that Bandai or Atari will be pushing to have the game released in the states as it would greatly help with fattening their wallets. And if they do, go them! I'm all for it!

Yes well did you read the part about the Gundam MMO....that's actually pretty relevant. The chances of a DBZ MMO on the Xbox is slimmer than the chance of it seeing a PS3 or PC release. And as I said before, everyone should be highly surprised to even see this come to American PC. PS3s and Wiis are outselling the Xbox INTERNATIONALLY....note i said internationally. Just because that's true doesnt mean Microsoft will say "Well, if there's anything to boost our sales, it's DBZ", and they probably won't.

Not to mention the "surge" of Dragonball is non-existent. Just because a card game is coming out, and a few movies are being released does not mean that DBZ as a whole is going to grow any more than it previously has. The thing is, Dragonball isn't gaining a significant amount of fans, if any at all. Also, the thought that video games are affecting popularity is not true. Although I do continue to buy some of the games, they don't exceed decent and mainly only attract people who are already fans....you can read any review for the games to find that out.

I think you more hope than actually think this game will come to america.....
