Original Starter Deck Ideas

I think it will go along like Naruto
The original starters should be Goku, and Vegeta (when he first came to earth and attacked it)

this is what kind of cards each should have

Goku Vegeta
Kamehameha Galic Gun
Krillin Nappa
Raditz saibamen
kid gohan Scouter (mission in naruto simularity)
Kid goku Kid Vegeta
Picolo King Vegeta
Kaioken Giant Ape Transformation (maybe a 8/2 6/1)
Spirit Bomb Moonlight saiyan thing to search for Great Ape
Great Ape Gohan Super Mouth blast or whatever its called
Destruco Disk Sayain Armor mission type thing

thats just some stuff I was thinking about, I basically want it to be vegeta and goku's first real fight type theme

The starters might not include only DragonBall Z. Bandai has all three series to pick characters from. It's very possible that the starters might feature characters from DragonBall GT, as the first set will be comprised of only DragonBall and DragonBall Z.

I doubt it usually the only cards that’s in the starters are in the boosters as well and since there is no GT in this set there probably wont be in the starter.

It's true that, in most games, the cards in starters can also be found in boosters. However, James has told us that there will be at least one exclusive card in the starters. With that in mind, isn't it a fair assumption that there could be more?

you could be right, but some reasion I think the first set will stick to the first 2 series.

the exclusive cards will likely be like naruto's bounus cards that it has in it's starter decks.

Though certain starter cards don't come in boosters, they're still part of the set. Short of promo cards, don't expect to see GT this set.

I've a feeling that the first starters for this game are most likely going to feature characters branching from the Demo King Piccolo and Majunior Sagas of Dragonball, as well as the Saiya-jin Saga from Dragonball Z. It just makes more sense to have starters function off of those Sagas first - but, we are seeing previews of Cell in the new Shonen Jump, so who knows what Bandai has in store for us exactly.

well they've specifically said the first set spans dragon ball and dragon ball z with no limits, so they could simply make a hero deck and a villan deck. of course personally i'd like to see vegeta and goku or goku and frieza. basically it'll probably be goku and whoever.

thats true, we could see SSJ3 in set one, but I doubt that

Personally, I'd like to see a hero starter and villain starter. Have all the Z Fighters in the Hero starter and then have Demon King Piccolo, Saiya-jin Armor Vegeta, and Frieza in the villain starter.

2. Cell cards will likely be there since we have seen the cell card

Because that's the Japanese spelling and pronunciation of the race. Saiyan is the American pronunciation. True fans of the show should know this =/ Just like the transformed states for the Saiya-jin is known as Oozaru (the giant ape)

And Cell will most likely see a spot in a starter deck. I was just giving a few refs as far as DB and DBZ villians.

I grew up with DBZ when I was little so I was with the US version, I prefer Saiyan,

Maybe they should make one deck for the DBZ sagas up to the end of Freiza saga containing some DB like kid goku and such maybe some namek stuff, and then an Android deck with with some DB
