the only "real" promo is the Goku from the SJ. You can't get it normally anymore, you would have to look it up on ebay or something to get it.
Anything else that could be considered a promo like Mecha Frieza of Great Saiyaman are starter deck cards that were released as Tournament prizes instead. You would have to talk to your local shop about if they get the tournament kits or you could try to find them on ebay as well

Could you please list those starter deck cards please?
Note: Here in Australia for some reason, no store gets the cards at all. They say that there isn't a large market for them but that just seems like a whole lot of bull. Only speciality stores supply them but then again not all speciality stores.

Okay :)
Hey I found this picture featuring cards I've never seen. Some of the cards I know are Naruto and few are normal cards but some like Kid Goku, Kid Bulma and Kid Yamcha I've never seen before. Here's a link:

This is the page which this pic comes from:

Are these ones promo or not (excluding the Naruto and Raspberry and other cards?

Those are the alternate art Chibi promos given out during the release of the game. Some might make it into the newer tournament kits because the kits are mostly reprints of mats and cards. There are 7 of them.
Goku
Bulma
Yamcha
Krillin
Master Roshi
Chiaotzu
Tien
Also in the newest kit are the final two Wishes.
Wi-007 Existence of Hero
Wi-008 Porunga of the Planet Namek

Which game is this or you mean this card game. And what's chibi and why and how would I get this starter kit for these cards?

I'm referring to this card game of course.
Chibi is a Japanese term to describe a character when they've been super-deformed for "cute" purposes which is why they all look like kids even though we've never seen Yamcha that young.
It's not a starter kit, it's a tournament kit. You have to become a Meijin (tournament organizer) for Bandai and host tournaments to receive prize support which consists of mainly platinum cards (normal cards with silver foil and lettering) and mats. At times, they'll decide to throw in a deck box or a binder in place of a mat.
In the current kit, all the mats are older designs from previous kits and in addition to the platinum cards, you get the last two Wishes mentioned in my last post.

Half and half. I'm going to make a thread about it to see what everyone got since I'm sure the kits varied.

That is a shame but these Wishes aren't going to be top picks considering what is among the other 8 and the platinums are just reprints of stuff you can get in packs, nothing special unless you want to foil out your deck. And the mats have been underwhelming lately. To me, at least.

the reasion there old mats is Bandai is trying to get rid of old stock there doing this in Naruto as well with only 1 mat being new and that was the launch mat.

I know. This isn't the first time we've gotten old mats. In general, the recent mats have been not that great to me. The Mecha Frieza and Saiyaman ones are kind of plain where they simply took the card image and stuck it in front of a not so great background. I don't know about the process of getting mats approved but I was really impressed with the Piccolo one from the third kit and was hoping to see more like that. Shouldn't complain about free things though.
