You can't. James has already said, that the games are similar so that someone could make extra rules for you to play a Naruto deck against a DragonBall deck, but that you can't mix cards.

James said that you can't mix them with the rules they created. However, he continued his thought by saying that you could definately make some rules to include both CCG's in the same deck. James continued on by saying that they did not take this route as it would have been a lot more work. There are some obvious other reasons as to why you shouldn't mix two card games into the same deck.

I do not remember seeing a post, that said that they would make any extra rules. The only posts I saw that James commented on this, was him saying that there could be extra rules, but Bandai would not be making them.

Yeah, thats what I read, but it was only about having decks vs each other, not mixing cards.

he was talking about mixing cards when I read that, It is possable but they will not be making the rules is the way he put it.

Read my post carefully. I did not say that James had said that we could mix cards.

so if i understand this right, (and i probably don't i should be asleep instead of reading all these threads) the game is close enough to naruto that with a few tweaks in the rules you can play against each other but having the different cards in the same deck is impossible?

you can mix them but you have to make your own rules for that.

I don't even feel like trying that

I am pretty sure the games are to different to mix cards, but are similar enough to pit the different decks together.

The character cards are most certainly similar enough to be able to play them against Naruto decks considering the template for the character cards for both games are almost exactly alike aside from minor details like the borders and of course the elements and such. I'm suspecting that events are going to be the equivalent to missions while techniques will be the equivalent to jutsu in Naruto.

Either way I think it'd be interesting to pit DBZ against Naruto.

They are going to be different, thats why the players have to make new rules to they them play against each other.

I know that but I wonder how much diffrent it will be, I am hoping that toughness and plunder are keywords.

Like in the other thread, I am sure that toughness and plunder will be "keywords" like in Magic. So the ability under it is what it does, and will be the same on other cards. But with toughness, it seems like there is Toughness 3, you would have to discard 3 cards.

yeah it does seem that way becuse the keywords don't fit the effect's that follow the word. to Plunder useally means to take something so maybe it means to take a dragonball or something if it attacks or does damage and toughness can have something to do with what the other members are talking about.

No, I am saying that the "keywords" and the ability under them are connected.

I hope your wrong on that becuse what does the word plunder have to do with the effect corrasponding(sp) the keyword.

plun·der
1. to rob of goods or valuables by open force, as in war, hostile raids, brigandage, etc.: to plunder a town.
2. to rob, despoil, or fleece: to plunder the public treasury.
3. to take wrongfully, as by pillage, robbery, or fraud: to plunder a piece of property.

Evil Jim

Yeah, I know. But from those 5 cards, 2 of them have the same "keyword" and ability, so to me it would be logical to think that the word and the ability go together.

yeah I believe your right on having that theory, just hope it's there more to it.
