Promo's?

I am just getting started in this game and find myself confused by this subject. I see cards called promos but they look exactly like the regular cards? How do you tell what is really a promo? I also tried to find a list of promo's and came up with nothing. Anyone want to help this DB CCG newb out?

They are basicallly platnium foils of commons and uncommons which you get like 50 of each card for each kit.

So does that mean all promos are just foil versions? Same art on them and everything? I could have sworn most looked similar but thought I also saw some unique ones, chibi versions or something. Any clue where to find a list of promos? This is the first game I've gotten into that I couldnt find a list for them.

The first batch of prize support were "deformed" versions of cards from the first set. Same card, different pic. The only true promo is the Goku on the front page of this site. They are also putting the 8 cards that would have been starter deck exclusive into the prize support so that is the only way to get them. All the rest of the cards in the prize support have been alt-foil version of cards. Someone that has a local tourney might be able to give you a full list, but I can't. Most if not all of them are on ebay from time to time though.

First 7 Weeks Of Game Release Promos; Chibi Goku, Chibi Bulma, Chibi Yamcha, Chibi Krillin, Chibi Tien, Chibi Roshi, and Chibi Chiaotzu..

Platinum Foil Promos;

Raspberry, Senzu Beans, Awakening Of The Evil, Piccolo Jr., Dende, General Blue, Launch, and Saibamen..

Tournament Exclusive Promos;

Exposure, Gohan, Dynamic Mess Em Up Punch, and Mecha Frieza..

I think that's all of them..

I have one more question. I have been able to find all the promos listed above but one. Found turn 4 piccolo, but where is this turn 0 Piccolo promo? Thnx in advance for the help.

It was a launch promo for set 3 if you need it let me know I have like 16 of them .
