I'd like to compile a list of tips I can use to help new players.

A general mistake I see them make is keeping a big team and attacking with it instead of splitting and attacking with three 5s which at many times would win them the game. I'm sure we've all seen that or was a victim of it.

What are some gameplay tips we can offer new players hoping to become better players? Thanks in advance for your responses.

What we have so far:

Be wary of when you can attack with three teams of 5 to end the game.

(Makeshift Ghost)
Remember what your cards and deck do.
Know how to bluff.
Try to have at least 2 big teams attacking.
If a Unique or Alien deck has 3+ Chi in their Chi area, try not to have a team of 1 Warrior.
Moving your Dragonballs properly is key.
Turn 0s with a healthy 3/0 are near staples for any deck. Like Goku, Piccolo Jr. and Zoonama.
Say everything you are doing. If you assume your opponent will do stuff for you, odds are they won't. Call out Thrash and Fierce on them.

(Scubadude)
If you buy a starter, it will contain cards with every keyword except Thrash and Ally.

Know your cards and deck strat.
Be able to bluff.
Try to have atleast 2 Big teams attacking.
Don't have team of 1 warrior against unique decks/Alien when they have 3+ chi in their chi pile.
Learn to Piano.
T:O Goku/Piccolo jr./Zoomba are good Staples.
Say the Keyword when playing. Your opponent won't call it for you. (mostly cause they like to be unfair, but its cool. Integrity Fist)
Have Fun and just remeber it is just a game.

Great contribution, Makeshift Ghost.

Ss4 Gogeta28, When he refers to Piano he means moving your Dragonball coins around properly. Not necessarily with Piano but it's a good reference since Piano was a great card back in The Warriors Return.

Thrash is an effect where if your attacking team beats an opponent's team by at least 5, you deal them Planet Damage equal to the Thrash value. It only works once per team though. So if you have two Warriors with Thrash in one team, only one gets applied if you get that victory.

Fierce is when your attacking team wins a battle, your opponent discards cards off his deck equal to the Fierce value. Unlike Thrash if you have multiple Warriors with Fierce iin the same team and they win a battle, your opponent discards for each of those Warriors with Fierce.

oh so thrash is like the DBZ version of es-kakashi but it can get 2 if it says 2. and then fierce is just and awesome effect. ok thanks.

It's not exactly like Kakashi though. It has to be an Outstanding Victory for it to work and it doesn't have Kakashi's drawback if you're losing.
