Who would win in a battle of Gogeta Super Saiyan Vs Vegeto Super Saiyan?

Vegeto was able to fight Super Buu Gohan Absorbed and kick his butt for the most part. He then went Super Saiyan and kicked his butt even more so. Vegeto did have a little trouble when Super Buu got frickin angry, but Vegeto didnt knock him out of that state with a little effort. Vegeto was able to be hit and knocked around by Super Buu, but it didnt seem to hurt him that much.

Gogeta Super Saiyan took out Janemba so quickly and easily that it almost wasnt even a fight. Janemba was able to manhandle Goku Super Saiyan 3 with ease, something Kid Buu couldnt do with ease. Janemba also hit Gogeta in the face and didnt even move him.

From what we have been shown, Janemba and Majin Buu are about at the same level for argument sake. Janemba does seem stronger though since he was able to take on a Goku SS3 way better than Kid Buu could have imagined. Gogeta didnt even get hurt or moved by Janemba even with a hit to the face. Vegeto could be moved by Super Buu. Gogeta is stronger.

Please dont put comments about Gogeta and Vegeto having different creators and that Gogeta is in a movie so he dont count. They are both in the Dragon Ball Universe. Thanks

the old Kai in DBZ mentioned that fusion from the ear rings is stronger than that old trick by the metamarines. Although its permanent, its the strongest fusion thus far.

Gogeta took out janemba so fast becuase its a movie and they don't really drag out fights. Im sure gogeta would take 2 episodes to beat the enemy just like any other good guy who knows he is stronger.

Vegeto let himself get knocked around to fool super buu and make super buu think that he can absorb him.

I think they spell Vegito on the card for this card game so im going to assume that this is the correct spelling for it.

Hmm. I also seem to remember that the kai fusion was more powerful than regular fusion. But for grins and kicks, I'll assume that they are about equal. Let's say they fight to a draw until Gogeta's fusion runs out. Then he splits into Goku and Vegeta. Since kai fusion has no time limit, Vegito would then win, since you supposedly have to wait 30 mins or whatever to fuse after you have unfused. (Although that rule seemed to be ignored in fusion reborn.) So, I say Vegito wins.

I do agree with the time limit. If the fight went past 30 mins, Gogeta would be owned. Elder Kai does mention the the potara is better but because of no time limit and that you do not need identical power levels and similar physical build, and you dont need time to perform the dance. Elder Kai said it was more "effective" because of this, not more powerful. Gogeta still defeat Janemba super quick with ease, rather it was because of movie time was short or not, to the DBZ Universe he did it. Vegito did fool around because he wanted to free his sons and Piccolo, but Super Buu was still able to knock him around a little when Gogeta couldnt be moved by Janemba.

Super Saiyan Gogeta not Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta.
And to see if Janemba is stronger than Gohan Absorbed Buu you would need to see if Gohan Absorbed Buu is stronger than Kid Buu. If Kid Buu is stronger than Super Buu Gohan Absorbed, then Janemba is stronger. Look at Janemba's fight with Goku to Kid Buu's, Janemba is stronger.

Well, this is the way I look at it. Super Saiyan Vegito was unable to attain Super Saiyan 4 Status, regardless of conditions. Given that he didn't choose to transform further, we can assume that Super Saiyan as his limit. Additionally, the fact that the fusion dance is temporary works to their advantage, as Super Saiyan 4 is attainable ONLY because they unfused once again. I think it is fair to assume had they remained at Vegito, their power would have plateaued at a much lower point then Gogeta's did. Saying that Vegito (Vegetarott as he is known in the manga) could beat Gogeta at SS level, is saying that SS2 Vegeta could beat SS2 goku even though he had another transformation left in him. At least, that's my opinion.

If saiyans fuse with the dance, they can power up to other levels, known to SS4.
If they fuse with the potara, they can only power down to what they started they fusion in. If they fused as Super Saiyans they would only be able to power down to Super Saiyan Level. If they did this, it would also increase their powers for the same reason why Goku and Gohan remained Super Saiyans in the Cell Saga. This would also greatly shorten their life though. Potara Saiyans can power up to SS4 if they have the ability to do so.

super gohan absorbed was the strongest form of buu, kid buu was not as strong it is stated in the show, mystic/ultimate gohan is stronger than ss3 goku in the show also. Gt was not written by akira toriyama also ss4 was a power developed in gt. also gogeta ss4 only lasted about 5 minutes because of the raw power so for the sake arguing if vegito went ss4 he wins hands down. BUT since this thread is about super saiyan I am still gonna say vegito super saiyan wins because janemba was not as strong as buuu gohan absorbed and vegito was just toying with him as vegeta is the personality who has more control in that state.

Gotenks SSJ3 is stronger the Goku SSJ3, you are forgetting that Super Buu is the strongest version of Buu, other then when he absorbed other fighters. They say Kid Buu is the most dangerous because he is evil incarnate, and can't even be stalled like Super Buu was.

Kid buu is the strongest buu. Its stated that when Goku and Vegeta pulled Fat buu from super buu they thought his power would go down but it actually went up because there was no good restraining his power.

The strongest character by them self in all of z is ultimate/mystic gohan he was not hurt by buu at all but tricked. Super buu gohan absorbed is the strongest version of buu. Gotenks ss3 is stronger then goku ss3. Goku got his *** whooped by kid buu who was not as strong as super buu.

Vegeto was really powerful. REALY POWERFUL. he was by far the most powerful warrior in Dragonball Z. and he was not able to go Super Saiyan 3.

Gogeta on the other hand was the most powerful Charicter Following Z in GT, Yes Gogeta was more powerful then Vegeto.

Like some people said earlier, it was actually officially stated that the fusion with the earrings creates a stronger warrior than the ones that use the fusion dance.
