I use pilafs 90% of the time but FL meta is very rush heavy with either stompdown or mono villain.

Rush means your opponent tries to build powerful teams right off the bat. Villain is the best at doing this creating at best a team power of 9 on turn 2.

When Scubadude said "stompdown" hes referring to Alien. Alien is all about controlling the warriors your opponent is allowed to use. Alien uses techs such as Stomping which removes any warrior from your opponent and it cannot be sent out to battle that turn. Captured is an event that Alien uses that "captures" one of your opponents warriors and it cannot be sent out for a time limit of 2 turns.

I feel that all the Wishes are good, it all depends on how your play is and which benefits you the most.

Upa's Wish: Great when you lose one of your strong warriors early and cannot get them back. Or in cases like Cell [Perfect Form], Frieza [Final Form], or Frieza [Full Power Form] where they cannot be deployed and have to be put into play through evolution. Upa's Wish makes it easier for you to play stronger warriors, but it comes with the cost of you having alot of planet damage still..

Emperor Pilaf's Wish: Awesome card when you take alot of planet damage due to you being unable to make strong enough teams to match your opponent. Overall its a keeper.

Dende's Wish: Just a great wish! Can help you draw a hand if you have no hand, can help you draw a better hand, or it can help deplete your opponents planet. Whichever you feel like lol

Shenron of the Earth: Is a great wish, but its expendable.. it gets rid of yours and your opponents highest turn cost warrior in play. This wish takes alot of skill to use, and since your new, I dont recommend it lol

Regaining the Power: This is a new wish in Set 4 Fusion and this should if not will be decked in everyones wish list :p sooo destructive and in my opinion it can change the face of the game its used in. If you dont know what it does, this wish is an [Action] Card instead of a [Strategy] and it gives one of your warriors Thrash 3!!:eek:

Yepp, there is your recap of the best, most used wishes.

Also, another popular wish is Frieza's Last Wish. But in my area no one has been lucky enough to obtain it lol

Frieza's Last Wish: This wish gives one of your warriors two growth coins. If you run a growth coin deck, or if you think this will drastically help you out, hey why not go for it?

Scubadude is right FL is very rush heavy so I use pilafs a lot, if I had shenrons I would use that a good bit against villain since they don't run extremely large amounts of late game, but killing their late game is hard once they drop it. Upa's wish is what I play if I am winning as a win more card.

At times I use frieza's wish but only If I am winning so well that I don't have anything in my discards that I want with Upa's wish.

Oolongs I hear is big in the north american meta, and the cali meta. I remember a thread where they were saying FL players were dumb for not running it. The only reason i would run it is in an earth deck since their draw is good. Other than that it is not run here.

Dende's is run by villain cause they use it to get their techs, and no one really can compete with that.

I am going to replace Frieza's last wish with Regaining Power cause to me its just better to be able to thrash and win over get a bit stronger and maybe win.

Your statement in bold, Upa's Wish is most certainly moreso used as a win card. If you only have like 5 PD and got most of your DBs through Plunder.

I myself have actually been saved by Upa's Wish before. Ive taken HUGE gambles where Ive had up to at most 9 PD some games, and use Upa's Wish.

In one scenerio, I missed two of my drops early [turn 0 and turn 2:(] and took 9 PD by my turn 4. On my turn I had SS3 Goku in my hand and decided to chi my hand (5 cards) and used Upa's Wish to bring SS3 Goku into play. And it was game over from there because Goku was wellll above all my opponents teams.

I was just saying how I play it. I am sure it can save you if you are losing, but its going to be harder and harder to actually turn a game around with a single extra drop as bounce and removal becomes more common place. One thing I actually used Upa's for a couple of times was to play majin vegeta which was like playing shenrons but better. Of course that is pretty hard to do.
