Ok guys I used to play the score dbzccg and LOVED it... I have yet to play the dbccg and was wondering how the game play and deck options (which made dbzccg awesome) stack up. Is db ccg something I would enjoy because i liked the dbzccg? Just curious and any input would be appreciated.

i too was a very active player of score's game (i still play it with my friends to this day). If you like dragonballz and you like card games, i think you should very obviously make an effort to pick this game up. The way the game is played though is completely different. Theres not as much variety as there was in score's game but then again we are only 3 sets in and if u played score's game from the start, when the trunks saga set came out all the decks were still relatively similar as well, with time i feel or at least hope this game will have all the variety the last game had. An awesome thing about this game is that all of your favorite characters are most likely very playable which is a problem i had with scores, if a warrior didnt have a good personality power, he probably couldnt ever be used competitvely which is something this game does not suffer from. I encourage you and whatever friends you played with to give it a try cause thats what i did and i am very thankful for it now.

as another old z player, that game was good for some things (like getting to keep your favorite character out for the whole game as a main personality.) this game is definitely good too. it's great for getting out a lot of your favorite warriors and teaming them up. eg: ss 3 goku + piccolo vs. majin vegeta + buu. it's great.

They aren't that good, they force you to not run 19 and 20, its a slight power creep

But think of it this way BalanceBJJ, did they really need that? Couldn't a style that really needs something to shine get something like those statuses effects on that turn? Yes I'm talking about Super which has only mid to okay cards.

I've said repeatedly that for getting the focus this set Super didn't get much, that in fact with those two cards alone Villain may have gotten more, however the combo is only a slight power creep and removes the chi drain from RRA.

If you ever heard of naruto its very similar game play wise . Main difference is DB has a lot more requirements and is more balanced then naruto .

Think of how little that chi drain truly means though, when you have the ability to have a team of 19 on turn 4? Its stretching somewhat to say that even the stage 3 goku at turn 7 would reach that number regularly. Then follow it up on turn 5 with a cell? Some of the upcoming previews for other deck types are going to have to be jesus in a can to even be on the same level.

One, the double drop combo will happen fairly infrequently, and the chi drain was always a big impact as it made your opponent unable to counter your own Techs.
It's not even something I'm worried about, yes they got a bump, but unlike the rest they got in Set 3 it doesn't fit seamlessly into the deck

What I was saying is this miner boost to them would have been a major nice boost to any other style.
