Anyone else catch the announcement over at Team Covenant about the February Article contest? Straight from the site (here (http://teamcovenant.com/contests.html)) :

Current: February Article Contest
Topic: Favorite Combo
Length: 400-1000 words
Submissions Due: February 1st; 12:00AM
Send to: team*covenanttcg.com
Attach as: .doc or universal text file (No .docx)
E-Mail Subject Line: [Your Name - Feb Article Contest]
File Name: [Your Name - Feb Article Contest]
Prizes: 1st - $15, 2nd - $10, 3rd - $5, and possible Honorable Mentions for credit and recognition.

So what we're looking for here is an in-depth analysis of a particular combo and why you feel it is important to understand. By combo we mean the ability of two or more units/buildings/cards to complement the others in such a way as to yield an advantage of some sort. The combo can be as extensive as possible. We want to know why you love the combo, why it is important for players to understand, and why it works like it does. Those interested in the top spots should go as in-depth as possible, mentioning possible counters, ideal situations to use the combo, the best ways to set the combo up, etc.

We look forward to another round of incredible entries! Without you these games would be nothing. Nothing!

The January Article Contest #1 saw two articles (results here (http://teamcovenant.com/results.html))written about our very own Dragonball CCG. If anyone out there is decently good and has decent writing skills, I suggest you enter the contest. Not only do you end up getting free store credit, but you also get to help make Dragonball CCG be promoted across the Team Covenant network.

Anyone have any particular combo's in mind?

Is it okay to have images in our article?

I can't say for sure (as the final decision is not mine), but assuming the image is appropriate then... likely yes. What kind of pictures were you thinking?

Pictures of the cards.

This I can give a definite answer to, yes. In fact, images will be included regardless of whether you include them or not...

By tomorrow most of us will have our hands on nice, new, shiny pieces of cardboard will all of our favorite anime characters on them. Most of us will be geeking out because of it to. Well, that being said, don't forget to take some of those cards, form a combo, and write about it!

The February article contest is ending on Sunday at midnight and this is your perfect chance to earn free (well the work behind writing the article) new cards! The new set will be in the store on Monday, so get the store credit while you can!

I'd like to write an article but I doubt I'll have the time. Maybe you can extend the date to Wednesday?
