Today we continue our card previews from the premier set of the Dragon Ball CCG. We start off this week’s preview with four fantastic “Unique” cards from Set 1 “The Warriors Return.”
Our first cards are WA-039 Tambourine & WA-040 Cymbal. Both of these Warriors have strong Combat Values while Healthy or injured, and both have the powerful “Evil Tribe” Characteristic. In addition WA-039 has the special ability: “Plunder” which allows him to snatch a Dragon Ball coin from one of your opponent’s Warriors when his team wins a Victory or Outstanding Victory. Now that’s power!
Our next card will really get you pumped up. TE-029 Evil Wave Explosion gives target Warrior +0/+2, and that’s enough to turn the tides in any close battle.
Our last card is EV-019 Selection of the Race, a particularly powerful “Unique” event that allows you to Discard one of your warriors (probably an Injured warrior) to power up one of your other Healthier & Stronger Warriors. The strong get stronger…
