Regarding Dragonball and AF.

Most fans of Dragonball, Z, and/or GT know that Toriyama started to make a fourth part to the Dragonball series, but it was never finished. Probably for the best. Some of the fan pictures, and some of the pictures he drew are very cool. I would find it awesome if Bandai could add some of these as sort of a sub set. I would like people's oppinions on this. Yes, I relize there is no liscense so this would be very hard to do, but it is merely an idea.

Dragonball. If this game is similiar to Naruto the Dragonball characters are going to be most of the low drops, but with conflicting names with Krillin, Yamcha, and most importantly Goku, will they put Kid before the names? I hope this is resolved and you aren't to decide hmmm... T0 Goku or T6 Goku. Also what to do about the Super Saiyans, will those be seperate characters so you would be able to have Goku and SSJ Goku and SSJ2 Goku in the same deck, or will it be similiar to growth which would probably make them un playable? Also how will they deal with most of the attacks? Most of them are character's signature moves, and also alot of characters learn them at certain ages so that would make cards quite long...

Lots of questions need answered, and relatively soon. Quite frankly I'll probably quit Naruto for DBZ because Naruto is basically wrecked.

You read that way wrong, the guy was speculating that it meant April Fools.

It infact does mean Alternate Future. Toriyama DID start to draw, there are pictures that were posted that he drew. He and his company decided not to do it, probably for the better.

Some of it is false, in fact most of it is false.
Though, Akira did come up with new characters for a new "saga". I don't know if he came up with AF or if that was thought of by the fans, but I do know he did start to work on it but gave up.

AF Isn't coming out in America, if it does come out at all =( I wish it would, as I love dbz more than life itself haha

By most you must mean some, 'cause I would hope that most DBZ fans know AF to be a total crock. The artwork is fanart, the series was never worked on and I would loath to see it in this game.

dont u think that is a bit crazy? every news source known to man? so health magazines would talk about it? technology magazines? CNN would talk about the potential for a fourth dragonball series? i highly doubt that. it would be talked about for sure, but by no major news outlets at all.

i thought it was amazing how in-depth the wikipedia article was. i dont know if i believe in db af or not but it is funny because when iwas younger and really into db and i heard about this just with a different namely i just mainly remember the siper sayian 5 thing but i blew it off as fake then so...

Dragon Ball AF was what some silly fanboys made up. Never thought of by Toriyama. It will never happen, and for the better. All I need is the main Dragon Ball story Toriyama made.

well for one when the supposed idea for AF arouse DB wasnt even that big stateside anymore. japanese shows or games never make american news. american news features xbox 360 because it is related to microsoft which is owned by bill gates who secretly rules the world...
but for real video game systems and the bad news related to them make news cuz they will be greatly talked about and politicians love to hate on video games. plus video games make money. sure cartoons can make money but im sure the xbox 360 has made more profit than DB. plus the only tv news that makes it to the news are shows that are voted on in take place in "reality". all tv shows i watch take place in the fifth dimension, that means they arent reality.

also of course i know DB is like a religion to some, but so are cults! i managed to escape the DB cult before the fbi busted it. i was way into db when it was big, i bought tons of magazines and read so much about the show that i knew how db gt ended before db was halfway thru over here, and i never even watched any episodes just the english ones on cartoon network.

I don't think that they will differentiate between the older and younger versions of the characters. After all, it wouldn't be the first time Bandai had the same character occupy different turn slots. Take Gaara for example. Most Gaaras occupy the T2 or T4 slot, but there is also a T0 Gaara that is Gaara as a small child but still has the same name as the rest. I'm guessing this is because while this is at a different point in time in the character's life, Different time =/= different form, thus why the characters are not given different names.

Speaking of forms, the SSJ forms have already been confirmed to have "Super Saiyan" in their names and therefore be considered different Warriors in terms of Deck construction. Naruto has something similar to this in the form of Gaara and Gaara (Possessed Mode). Since it's legal to have 3 of both of those in 1 Naruto CCG Deck, it's not too much of a stretch to say tt will be legal to have 3 Goku's and 3 Goku (Super Saiyan)'s in 1 DB CCG Deck.

As for "signature moves" and the ages that the character learn them at, I think that's part of what the Turn cost on the Techniques are for. Not only do the Turn costs provide balance to the Techniques, but they make sure that a massive Technique isn't played until way later in the game, acting as a "timeline" in and of itself.

Take Death Ball, for example. Even though some players are already figuring out ways to get Frieza FF out early, they still can't use Death Ball until the proper turn, thereby preventing severe abuse of the Trigrams-like Technique early to mid-game.
