The topic says it all. When the head of a team is removed, what happens? The rulebook seems to indicate that none of the other cards in the team can replace it as the new head. How do you calculate power?

Okay. If the opponent's power beats the power of your back warriors by 5 or more, they both get a damage (OV). If it is less, the head warrior would take the damage but since there is no head WA no damage is taken by your back WAs.
Ex 1:
Opponent's team: 12
Your team w/o head WA: 8
Nothing happens to your back WAs.
EX: 2
Opponent's team 14
Your team w/o head WA: 8
Your back WAs would each take 1 damage b/c it was an OV. Usually the head WA would take 2 and the back WAs would take 1 each, but since there is no head WA, just your back WAs get a damage.

If the head ninja is removed before being sent out to battle, (Due to a card like Stomping) then when you send them out to battle you declare a new head ninja.
If the head ninja is removed during battle, (Due to Kamehameha, Special Beam Cannon, ect) then nothing replaces it. Your back ninjas will still only get damage if it's overwhelming though.
