View Full Version : 3 support question
Hello players of DB CCG! Me and my good friend Kingjwon06 have a question:
Would you rather run (after the Awakening set comes out) multiple 3 supports of the same character or multiple characters with 3 support (For example 2 Cells and 2 19s or a Cell, Bardok, 19, and 20)? Cell evolution is not in the debate. We're in an argument, and would appreciate any voice in the debate.
Thank you for your input.

well i could say that running a multiple duplication of more than one warrior with 3 support is better because your cances get bigger of drawing that warrior say like jackie chun:D

If you are playing a mono deck then you should use multiple warriors with 3 support. That way you are able to play more warriors and make more powerful teams.
If you are playing a dual deck then you should play one warrior with 3 support according to the colors.. Obviously you could splash more but i doubt you would need them since you need the correct chi more..

It really depends on the build. If it's a blitz deck (Despite the styles) You'll probably splash multiples of different guys, just so you don't get caught up missing a drop, or holding multiple copies of a good support warrior. Lead warriors are a lot easier to replace than Support. I haven't found myself running 3 copies of any warrior in a deck, except for Gohan and Bulma.. which will change the next set I hope.

Blitz is your term for a rush deck?

depends on what deck you use
Going with soviet on this one, I'd rather run 2x of 2 different on-element warriors that are good than run 1-of's with multiple characters. First thing you need to look at the stat's and how they compare to the rest of the deck, than see if they would be worth splashing/keeping in for fighting for the slot. If you see 2 cards that are equal but different elements, you might want 2x of each. Don't expect that just because your running 4 different warriors you'll be able to play all of them anyways, maybe 3 of them at max, but that's even only if the game goes really late and 1 of those warriors early probobly died by than.
Stat's>Turn>On-Element. Keep that in mind, 1-of's are okay, but not if your running 4 different single warriors.

I like how you agree with SP's one sentence argument and then you explain it for him. That made me laugh.
The purpose of running multiple characters at the same drop is so that, god forbid, you miss your curve, you can continue to drop warriors in the drop slot before it.
Ok so this post has been up long enough that I feel that Kingjwon06 and I can stick our noses into this discussion.
My argument was along the lines thatt if I run a Super-alien, or as the case may be after the next booster, mono alien, it would be more ... vital to run an Andrioid 20 and 19 and Bardok and Cell as opposed to two Cells and two Piccolos. Outside Bardok none are really on color, so nothing was really lost by changing from one set of four to the other.
If you can see a positive to the two Piccolos and two Cells, I can't, so please explain it to me, thanks.
