Well, this does tell us two things:

1) Dragonball counters, we know they where a coin of some kind. But now we know they are in the form of counters.

2) The SRs in the deck seem to be different then the ones we have seen.
The SS Goku, and I believe the Frieza from SJ will be a SR.

but remember there are two starter sets. the goku one says starter b, so that means there is still the a starter.

Well, I keep reading that this is already in Asia/Europe. I too am in Europe, why do I not yet have any cards? I can't seem to be able to get them anywhere

There is a game in europe but it is not the same as the one that is being released in North America. You might try pre-ordering some from your local hobby shop or from an online store.

Well, if we weren't excited before... This is pretty awesome if I do say so myself. That Goku image looks great. Hopefully we'll get some rule sets soon enough and if not at least something to keep us revved up.

Well, we were told that the Organized Play will be the same so I think it's a fair assumption that we will get DB Sleeves, Boxes, and Binders.

I don't know if organized play gives you binders but I know that bandai released sleeves, boxes and binders for sell for naruto a while back. Hopefully they do sell this stuff for dragonball z because even though I love card games, I am seldom good enough at it to get any cool free stuff.

I think the goku deck might be better in the long run. I am pretty sure some goku in that deck is good and assuming you need a goku to turn into goku[super saiyan] and SS4 is way stronger than any freiza form, goku might be better.

I don't think it's going to be quite that easy to get SS4 out :p Frieza might rush you since he would come out quicker :) But then again, Frieza did have 4 forms compared to the 5 forms of a Saiyan who can transform up to SS4.

I think the frieza deck will focus on his transformations. I think we will get all of his transformations except his final one.

Yeah, frieza is a really popular character. I think a trend of Hero and Villain is what should be done with all the starters and box art.

Dragonball cards are in the first set so I would assume there would be atleast some in the starters. I could almost guarantee that there is a vegeta personality since he is mentioned in the rule book but I would have no clue if he is in the decks or not.

You might see a Vegeta card in the Freiza starter. Those two were heavily linked during that arc.

The Goku Starter probably contains a lot of Z fighters associated with the fight against Nappa and Vegeta.

Well, that's good to hear, but I do wonder if there will be cards from Dragonball like Kid Goku, Kid Krillin, Piccolo Daima-Kou or other characters like that.

I don't see those being in the starters but they will definately be in the set. We've already seen a preview in the shounen jump with a kid krillin and kid goku. Piccolo was mentioned as an example in the rulebook so I'm fairly certain he will be included in the set.

is he....huh, i guess im not too suprised, back when DBZ came on i didnt even know about the internet so i didnt really have very many peoples opinions.

and i like the starter idea, and have the characters be different everytime instead of the main character having a starter every other set (naruto, although they did switch it up w/ the chosen)

True, in Naruto CCG in every set with starter decks they had naruto until the chosen. But I wouldn't be surprised if in every set in the DB CCG there will be a Goku Starter every 2-3 sets.
