I'm a veteran of the old DBZ card games as many of you may be as well. Something you guys may remember is the Tokui-waza (or however it was spelled) effect. it was where if you just had a certain style of card in your deck that you got a benefit for it.
My point is that hopefully the new game here works some kind of cards or effects for people who run just one type of card such as super, alien, etc. Do you think that could help out the game or not?
i realize an argument that can be made now like "there arn't enough cards for people to easily play just one type.". I understand that, the old game didn't introduce the concept until a few sets into the game.

When running a mono deck, you get the chi you need to play your cards, better then if you play more then one.

Sure that can help out, but that's the only thing going for it. Alien decks are the only kind that that really helps for. So much of their cards cost a ton of mana, of course there's that action that basically lets you be able to mill up to two cards for mana.
I think Mono works for all decks except Earth.

Preaching to the choir there man. All earth is is a style where you can get a wish soon. The great trick to it is bcuz earth has no offense other than
Yajirobe and Jackie Chun so you eat damage quick only to use pilafs wish to reduce it. In retrospect, it was one of my first games and I was drunk. If anyone can't tell, I'm a mess. haha.
Also a QQ. When it comes to Jackie Chun's tech, basically the opponent has to play a tech or else they become +0/+0 right?
