how do you think energy(chackra in Naruto) will be used in the game, in shipudden(sp) you get to charge from your hand or play a card from the top of your deck which I am hoping that is how this game uses the energy build up if it uses the system.

Unless they limit the amount you can charge off your deck then it'll be almost imposible to not have enough energy....which would be dumb. If you can charge off your deck....they should limit the amount. Just my opinion.

I'm fairly certain that you can only charge 1 card from the top of your deck. However, you can charge from your hand as much as you would like. There is a disadvantage to both but I can see OTK and FTK stemming from charging your entire deck.

I kinda wish they would use the energy system from duelmasters. One card from your hand and it counts as energy of that cards type. Also instead of discarding it you just deplete/renew. I really don't like the chakra system in naruto where its bad enough you have to use important cards from you hand to charge but you have to constantly use up cards from your hand because the chakra is discarded once its used.

Yep, only one - but there's so many ways to generate chakra that it really doesn't hurt the game - when I first started playing, the only real way to get chakra was by charging....and the games were so balanced it wasn't even funny.

If they do the same thing for DBCCG, it'll be darn near perfect!!

yea while i play naruto i remember only beign able to charge from my hand... and when ever i played a jutsu if it resolved it went to the chakra area....

Yep...dead. ninjas are chakra, cards will dump themselves into chakra with the right trigger, etc....

I think it's a grand idea for them to rip that mech for this game :p

This topic was created to discuss the possibility of using the mechanic where ninja are sent to chakra instead of being discarded in the DragonBall CCG. It is a mechanic from the japanese version of the Naruto CCG.

I don't knwo why you were mentioning that the in the american Naruto CCG you can only charge from your hand. It has no relevance to the topic or the conversations at hand.

Compatible does not mean that both games will have the same rules. All it means is that there will be a seperate rulebook that will have rules that apply to both games. The rulebook for the DragonBall CCG and the rulebook for the DragonBall CCG VS Naruto CCG will be different. This means that the game emchanics of the dragonball CCG will be different than those of hte Naruto CCG.

In no way, shape, or form, does that definition indicate that they are the same. All it says is that two things are able to co-exist with eachother. They don't have to have the same hair, same eye colour, same gender, etc., etc.. What you should be realizing by now is that the DragonBall CCG can have different mechanics and still be compatible witht he Naruto CCG.

compatabilty means it can work with it, it does not mean it will be the exact same. If it was the exact same there would not need to be unoffical rules to be created for it to be compatable.

that's a good thing it makes the game's unique plus it's can still be compatable.

I think it will be like naruto where you can just charge it from your hand, and the Technique card (Jutsu) will use that chakra, I'm not sure what game you have been playing but I always have chakra to play stuff, I just run missions and ditch all my early game stuff that I don't need.
