I'm sorry for being over-critical here but why didn't you read the news post that James Takenaka made over a month ago? In there he has answered a lot of the questions that have been posed here over the forums. James has said that the games will be compatible using unofficial rules in that very news topic. I'd appreciate if everyone who hasnt' read it woudl go read it so that we arn't re-itterating what has already been said.

BTW, they're compatible in terms of a Dragonball CCG deck against a Naruto deck. Not where both Dragonball CCG and Naruto CCG cards can be mixed into one deck.

If you are replying to Card Slinger J, then that isn't an assumption. James Takenaka has said that they will be making seperate rules that will allow a Naruto CCG deck vs a DragonBall CCG deck. I imagine these rules will make-up for things that you mentioned above.

Yeah, I imagine all situations will be taken care of in the unofficial rulebook.

I think there are plenty of cards in Naruto that do not involve ranks and "naruto stuff" so that you could make a deck, and play it against a DB deck, without any problem.

Of course. However, the enticing idea of playing two CCG's against eachother is that you are able to tap into the full potential of your CCG's card pool.

Well, most cards I see being played, don't target a rank or title anyways. Most just do damage or the like.

Regardless of "what people are playing". We should have access to the full card pool. Yes, there are damage cards but there are several damage cards that say "If it is a jonin gives X damage, if it is a chuunin or lower gives X damage" or something similar. Not all of them say that but there are some that do. Yes, we could make it so that we couldn't use those cards but I do not bleieve that it woud be fair to not allow those types of cards.

I'm sure bandai will make-up for cards like that in the seperate rules.

Lol, probably because you lose to it (j/k). Its just an alternate way of winning. If they want all cards to be use able in the Naruto vs DBccg games, then there might be a from of mental in DB, or else Mental would beat all DB decks. :eek:

Hmm, I agree I don't really see most of the DB characters getting mental. If anything, I could see, when Naruto vs DB, maybe the support power of DB characters will be used as mental.
