In the past Bandai has neglected Canadian players. I'm hoping that with this new game they will rectify that mistake and bring forth at least one large scale tournament a year to Canada.

Agreed.. I know for a fact that there is a large anime convention being held in Winnipeg manitoba Canada at the end of July it would a great place to see a demo or tourney to get the game going with a bang (In canada esspecially)

If you want tourneys in Candada, stop complaining here where it won't make a difference and ask a local hobby shop to be a meijin. Its not that hard....

And no exclution of the Province of Quebec!!!
It would be awsome to have tournaments in Montreal!

Ok.. were are not talking like little weekly tourneys we are talking something equivelant to the size of a jounin exam in naruto. Which is you check there has never been one in Canada. So please next time take a moment and try to understand what is being requested before you post. Also i don;t know where you are from but please spell my country correctly. Its Canada not candada. Thanks

Ok I'm sorry. I put a typo. I am so sorry I am an idiot. So sorry about one little typo. Sorry I'm not perfect, sorry for being human. So I spelt Canada wrong, big deal.

And what value would Bandai gain by putting a BIG tournament in Canada where not as many people play? If only 30 people show up fro a Jonin that wouldn't be worth it.

Well if you would pay attention to what he said, complaining here won't do anything, should try to talk to the gameshops there in caneda. Or even make a petition but threads like this won't help at all

You are very ignorant. A lot of people play in Canada. Dont assume stuff you dont know, you just appear stupid. A big tournament in Canada is a very good idea, and trust me, a lot of people would show up.

LOL. I'm not against a tournament. I'm saying it isn't the best idea. Bandai cares about its monetary gains. Why waste effort put into a tourney in Canada than So Cal when more people would go to So Cal?

So you. You say to know all the facts when you obviously don't know the other side then the players side. You are ignorant and you fail.

I Quoted the post where he said 30 people would show up -_-
Yes, he is ignorant, since if he doesnt live in Canda he couldnt possibly have an idea of how many people would show up. He assumed 30 people, Me, who lives in Canada, knows more people would come.

Okay since obviously you think you are smarter than me why the hell hasn't Bandai put any big tournaments there? Obviously you can take it, Mr. Einstein.

He didnt literally mean 30, ever heard of expressions? That thirty could mean ten thousand for all we know, but if in other places there would be one million then they would go for the one million of course

How do I fail? No Canadian player would go to So Cal if there was a big tournament in Canada. And I meant more of the Chunin, or Jonin in Canada, not really Gencon. Why waste the effort? Because almost just as much people play Naruto in Canada as in the U.S. so Im sure they wouldnt loose money by putting a Chunin type tournamen tor two in Canada...

LOL TOTAL CONTRADICTION.

I said if you want a chunin type thing ASK A MEIJIN. But you said NO I WANT A SANNIN. But Bandai won't waste the effort when more people would show up in So Cal ithan in Canda meaning more profits. And if you don't understand the concept of economics I'll break it down. MONEY MONEY MONEY.

Alright let me try to put this to logic. In a map sometimes 30 CM represents 10000 KM.

So when he said 30, it could have been a representation for any number.

He used 30 because its an easier number to bring out, he was trying to prove a logic.

The logic was that they would go for the place where they have the most people participate in a tournament.

All i am saying that even though people may not show up to the event, bandai should still consider having an event in Canada if even just to support the few players they have. And other side of the coin you get a huge tournout and everyones happy.
Mainly I just don't like the fact that they have shown no interest in having an event up here. It is just makes you feel as if they don't care. There are lots of dedicated players up here. I'm not saying have huge tournies here all the time but we should atleast get 1. I have run Chunin events here in the past and they were a great success. So why not try something a little bigger. Also keep in mind americans are also free to play in them if they are close to the boarder.
Also just a side note, i would be happy if they had a large event somewhere within driving distance of where i live. I am totally willing to travel for a large event, but for the most part large events seem to be mostly in the south and the coasts, so its hard for a player smack dab in the middle of canada to get to an event. Thats all. I'm not trying to start a flame war i just wanted to post my opinions. Thank you for reading.

Thanks for that Bill. I hope it helps people who are posting in this topic understand my reasons for creating it.

Guys, let's not argue in this topic. I'd like to keep it positive in order to drum up support for Canadian players. The moderators do look at the topics on the boards and if they see that there is a push for a large scale tournament in Canada then they may consider us for one. It may be menial but it is a small step foward for Canadian Players.

Thank you to everyone who has been positive in this thread and has shown support towards our cause. Let's keep the flaming to nill. Thanks guys!
